1.5. Witches, Warlocks, Whatever

Next Day. Morning.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed a blood bag from the fridge and poured it into a glass.

Then I walked into the living room and saw Hayley and Agnes sitting on the sofas across from each other "morning"

Agnes nodded at me.

Hayley smiled  "Hi, Ariana"

I sat down next to her and looked around "where is everyone?"

Hayley "Nik is out with Cami, and Rebekah is sitting behind us"

I looked behind me to Rebekah who was sitting at her laptop.

Me "And Agnes is babysitting you?"

I looked at Hayley who nodded. 

Then I raised an eyebrow skeptical "What is Nik doing with Cami again?"

She smirked and shrugged " i don't know"

I rolled my eyes "So what are we doing today?"

Hayley "Agnes wants me to go to an appointment tonight"

I looked at Agnes "does she?"

Hayley "but i told her that i feel great"

Agnes "You need to do a check-up."

Hayley "What am i gonna do?. Pop into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound? A pregnant werewolf escorted by a witch? nothing to see here"

Rebekah "A lot of woman would kill to have a child. You should better take care of yours"

I looked at her.

Agnes "i know a doctor out in the Bayou. I'll take the liberty to make an appointment for you. Tonight, just us. Vampires won't know. "

Hayley looked at me.

I nodded "I'm going too"

Hayley sighed at Agnes "okay. Fine. Bayou baby doctor it is."

I drank my glass empty and followed Hayley upstairs into her bedroom. 

Then i saw down on the bed. 

Hayley "So what's going on with you and Klaus?"

I shook my head "i cannot answer that question"

Hayley asked confused "why not?"

Me "Because i don't know the answer"

Hayley "just go ask him"

Me "Coming from the girl who got knocked up by him"

Hayley asked worried  "Are you even all right with this situation? i mean i slept with the guy you love and got pregnant"

Me "it's not like he's leaving me a choice. besides, we can't change the past so..yeah, i'll live"

Hayley sighed "Do you really want to come with me tonight?"

I shook my head "I don't trust Agnes. "

Hayley "neither do i"

Me  "what do you think? a boy or a girl?"

She giggled "I think a girl"

Me "Let's hope that"

The rest of the day we were chilling.

Night. At the Bayou.

We were sitting in the car in front of cabin. 

Hayley looked at me and took a deep breath "let's get over with it"

I nodded. 

We got out of the car and she walked inside. I couldn't step through the door frame.

A blonde woman greeted us. 

She looked at me "I'm sorry but you can't join us "

I raised an eyebrow irritated and looked at Hayley "Hayley?"

She nodded "It's okay"

Me "scream if you need me"

She nodded. 

Agnes walked past me in.

I was standing near the cabin.

 Suddenly i saw Hayley running to me. And two guys were following her. 

I asked confused "The hell?"

Then I pushed one guy against a tree and held the other guy by the arms. Hayley stabbed him in the heart. I didn't see the other one running at me but Rebekah killed him before he got the chance to do something.

Hayley asked confused "how did you find me?"

Rebekah "Your text got me halfway through. Hearing you run did the rest. "

She looked at the guys "Who are they?"

Hayley "Witches, Warlocks, whatever"

I looked around "Girls"

They looked at me and looked at the direction i was looking.

Me "There are more of them"

I turned to Hayley "Run!"

Rebekah "If i've gotten a dollar for every misery my family has put me into.."

i looked at her and smirked "Yeah, i'd own a yacht by now"

She nodded "yes"

Suddenly i saw two arrows piercing Rebekah's chest. 

She went down unconscious. 

Me "Bekah!"

Suddenly three arrows hit me in my chest. Vervain arrows.

I fell back and everything went black. 

At the Plantation. 

I jerked up and looked around. 

I was lying in my bed. 

Nik was sitting next to me on the side. 

I sighed "Hayley?"

Nik "She's fine"

Me "Bekah?"

He nodded. 

I breathed out relieved. 

Then i could smell blood. My top was soaked in blood, my blood. 

Me "You pulled the arrows out?"

He nodded.

I nodded "thank you for that"

He just nodded. 

Me "If you're going to yell at me for failing on protecting her, do it"

He didn't say anything.

I looked at Nik "aren't you going to say something?"

Nik "You should get some sleep. You need to heal"

I sighed "Nik"

He just walked out.
