next day. At the compound. 

I was woken up by something loud.

What the hell?

I got out of the bed and walked out of the room. 

Then i leaned against the railing and looked downstairs. 

Some guys were drilling something into the ground. 

Elijah was watching them. 

Me "Elijah!"

He looked at me.

I yelled "What the hell is all this?!"

Suddenly Nik walked out of his room followed by Genevieve.

Nik yelled "Enough!"

Elijah "is there a problem, brother? Gentlemen, please"

The men stopped. 

Nik looked at me. 

Genevieve scoffed. 

Nik and her walked past me downstairs. 

Nik "i agreed to arrangements, not to a bloody three-ring circus."

Elijah "Marcel and his Minions abused our home for the past century. You may be happy to live in misery. I'm not"

Genevieve nodded  "I agree with you brother"

Elijah looked at me. 

I put my fingers in my mouth and pretended to puke. 

He chuckled at me. 

Nik and Genevieve looked at me but i smiled innocently at them.

Genevieve "it's a new era in the French Quarter. This place could use a make over."

Me "Elijah, when someone like her agrees with you, then she wants something"

Nik chuckled in agreement. I walked back into my room and got ready.

When i walked back out i heard her asking for a party.

I walked downstairs "A party? are you serious?"

Genevieve rolled her eyes "I wasn't talking to you"

I stood next to Elijah.

Elijah put a hand on my lower back, respectfully "Well, you were. Ariana is just as much in charge as i am. f course i will not agree on something without talking to her first"

I smiled at him "The last party was a fiasco."

Nik "Well, i found it quite interesting"

I rolled my eyes "I wasn't talking to you"

Elijah chuckled.

Me "What feast day do you have in mind?"

Gen "La Fete des bénédictions"

Nik and i bursted out laughing. Elijah's face just said it all. 

Gen "in the past, members of the community offered witches gifts in exchange for blessings. We would like to use it as a form for introducing our harvest girls to society ."

Elijah "It's you're coven that attend to destroy my family and you yourself helped my siblings and Ariana to be put in unspeakable torment. And you would like a party for the witches"

Nik laughed. 

We turned to him.

Genevieve "Why don't you think it over?"

Then she walked out. 

Nik walked to us "now, don't be such a stiff, Elijah. The tourists love a good festival. Besides, what better way to main society than show fate to a long time enemy"

Me "A long time enemy with who you share a bed with"

Nik asked amused "Well, who said maintaining an alliance can't be fun?"

Elijah "you would think that you would b a little more interested into the needs of the mother of your child"

Nik "so she's the reason behind this renovation. Elijah, the truth is the mother of my child is from Werewolf royalty. She safe in the Bayou with her pack then she ever would be here us. Don't worry. I'll bring her home before the birth. "

He smirked and turned around to leave  "no child of mine will be born in the swamp"

Then he left. 

Elijah "Let's hope this party ends better then the last"

I scoffed amused "And you really think that?"

Elijah began to walked out.

Me "Where are you going?"

Elijah "Sending invitations"

Me "Want me to tell Hayley?"

He looked at me "If you want"

I nodded and he walked out.

In the Bayou.

I walked through the Bayou to the house. I saw Oliver walking to me.

Oliver "What do you want?"

Me "You know where Hayley is?"

Oliver "A pretty girl like you shouldn't be here on her own"

I smiled "Don't be foolish, Oliver, I'm 300 years older then you."

Hayley and Jackson walked to us. 

Me "Hey, Hayls"

She smiled "What are you doing here?"

Me "Well, we are throwing a party tonight"

Hayley "For?""

Me "The witches. You and your pack are invited "

Hayley "Thanks but no thanks"

Oliver "Let's hear her out"

Hayley "A party for the witches? seriously? The witches were the one who coursed your pack and did nothing but crap to me since i came to town. No. We are not going"

Jackson "it's a new day in the Quarter, Hayley. I agree with Oliver. If we are gonna co-exist, we have to play ball."

He looked at me "We will come, with a gift"

I nodded "okay"

Hayley scoffed and walked away.

I sighed and speeded into her way.

She looked at me confused. 

Me "That was too easy. Don't trust him. Don't trust any of them"

Then i speeded off.
