Jackie's POV
----------------
Waiting in the airport waiting area was my absolute least favorite thing to do, but at the end of the day, I knew CC would be with me again. The only thing that kept me there.

Tour had finally ended, thank god. All this anticipation was driving me crazy. I couldn't wait to receive Ava, and I didn't have Cath to tell her I couldn't wait to receive Ava. Basically, I spent the worst 9 months of my life alone this year. Not only was my husband gone, but so was my best friend, and I had to work. So stressful, glad it's over.

"Hey beautiful." A kiss was planted on the top of my head and inked arms wrapped loosely around my neck from behind. I stood up from the uncomfortable metal chair and turned around.

"CC!!" I jumped into his arms and stayed in his embrace for a while.

Someone cleared their throat. " 'oh Cath, I missed you so much too!'" Cath attempted to imitate me.

"Hey! I do not sound like that!"

As soon as I let go of CC, Cath wrapped her arms around me. "Oh I missed you so much!"

I took a deep breath, "I missed you too. Wait, where are the kids?"

"Oh, crap, Andy, do you have the kids?" Cath said sarcastically.

I playfully smacked her shoulder. "I'm serious."

"They're with Amy and Chris. We wanted to come to L.A. first and get the house situated before bringing them back."

I nodded and looked at the rest of the guys. "Oh, come here!" Each of them got a hug; Ashley first, then Andy, then Jinxx and then Jake.

As we--Cath, Andy, CC, and I-- walked back to my car, Cath asked with an excited grin on her face, "Are you ready to be a mom?"

"Um.." suddenly, nerves started to set in. "Yes and no. I mean yes, but I'm scared, there's so many what ifs on the table, I'm afraid some will come true."

Andy put an arm around me. "You guys will be fine. You're great with Beth and Jayden, they love you. Trust me, I've been in your shoes before, that kid couldn't wish for anyone better to take her in."

"Mr. and Mrs. Coma?" An elderly lady came through a door calling our name.

I wiped my sweaty palms on my gray jeans and CC gave my knee a reassuring squeeze. We stood up from the waiting room chairs and headed towards the woman. She opened the door and let us pass before her. Light was coming in through the big glass windows, illuminating the two figures in the room, outlining their silhouettes. My heart started racing as I got closer. My eyes adjusted to the lighting and I saw tears running down the mom's face.

CC grabbed onto my hand and walk along side me. Beautiful big blue eyes stared back at me, and the gorgeous baby girl extended her tiny arms, indicating she wanted me to carry her. That was it, that was the moment I broke down. Too many emotions swirled in my head. Through tears I spoke to the mom, "You are making us so so happy, I need you to know that, okay?" She nodded. "And if you ever want to come see her, the agency has our information. Thank you so so so much." I hugged her but her body stayed stiff.

Ava fussed and I took her in my arms, CC grabbed her bags. "Really," he said, "we mean it. You can be as involved as you want."

The girl wiped tears from her cheek, "No. I don't want to be involved at all. It'll cause more hurt than good."

And with that, she left.

We drove home, me in the back seat next to Ava in her flowery car seat. When we got home I carried Ava to the front door and CC had her luggage. He leaned down, placed a kiss on her head and then a kiss on my lips. "I love you." He said.

I smiled and said, "I love you too."

He opened the door and an explosion of sound bursted out, startling Ava.

"Surprise!!!"

Confetti flew up into the air and people jumped up from behind our furniture.

"Oh. My. God. " was all I could get out.

"You likey?" Cath asked with a big grin. There was confetti everywhere, a big banner that said Welcome Home Ava, pink and purple balloons, and food and gifts set on the dinning room table.

"Y'all made a mess."

Cath smiled, obviously proud of herself, and looked back, "She loves it."

"Oh, can I carry her!?" Mat approached me and then the rest of the guys and their girlfriends followed.

I handed him Ava and made my way to Cath, Ella, Alice, and Christina. All the guys huddled around CC, who now had the baby in his arms.

"Look at her, barely one year old and already has boys lining up, all of them wrapped around her little finger." Christina joked.

Letting out a chuckle I looked at CC and Ava, he was attempting to make her laugh and when she did he smiled at his success.

Andy's POV

A sigh escaped my lips as I laid down on the mattress. "Finally, a nice, big bed."

Cath chuckled and headed towards the vanity, opening a drawer to take out her pjs.

"Come here," I said, patting the space on the bed next to me. She did as I said and sat down beside me. "Have you thought about the E.P.?"

"Yea, I think we're gonna go through with it. I mean, what do I have to lose. I'm unemployed, probably will never find a job in my profession that will accept me. Music is my last resort."

"Hey, but it's a good one, isn't it? I mean, don't tell me you didn't have fun."

She smiled, looking down at me. "I did, I enjoyed it very much."

We stayed in a moment of silence for a while. I propped myself up on my elbows and cleared my throat. "Well, today is our last day without the kids. What do you suggest we do."

Cath let out a small laugh, knowing exactly where I was headed. "Well," she said, "I don't know about you, but I am exhausted. I'm gonna go take a shower." She stood up and turned her back to me, walking excruciating slow to the bathroom. She stopped in her tracks, undid the button and zipper of her jeans and pulled them off.

My breathing hitched at the sight of her black Victoria Secret cheeky underwear, something I had bought her for Valentine's Day this year. Even after a while of being together she never fails to make me go crazy.

She took slow steps forward and then off went her shirt. When she reached the entrance of the bathroom she stopped, reached back to grab the clasp of her bra, expertly unhooked it and let it fall to the ground--the light coming through the shades left an intricate shadow down her bare back. Her arms wrapped around her chest and she looked over her shoulder. "Coming?"
