The next day was as exciting at any school day was for Adrien. As the teachers followed through their explanations and procedures, they weren't reluctant on answering questions. With the new system, the boy took full advantage and stayed after some classes in order to take on extra explanations. He was tardy a bit for some classes, but nothing a pass couldn't fix.

After the last bell of the day rang, he hurried to put his things in his bag when Chloe rushed over and leaned onto his desk. At first he ignored her, but her talking proved it impossible. "So, Adrien. Are you full today, because I have a trip to the mall planned and was wondering if you'd like to come. Sabrina's going to come to though if you don't mind. I don't wanna damage my nails and you can't strain yourself so I'm sorry it's not just the two of us, but it won't be that bad. She can be quiet when she needs to be."

He looked up at her with concerned eyes. "What about your homework?"

She laughed with some giggles floating in the room, mainly that behind him. "Please, you think I have time for those silly assignments?"

He scoffed. "Compared to me, all the time in the world."

"That doesn't mean anything," she huffed. He raised an eyebrow.

"You know, you should listen to him and do your homework for once," Marinette said, trying to hide a smile. "Maybe then you wouldn't be failing every class."

"Shut up, Marinette." Chloe snarled.

Adrien frowned. "Don't tell her to shut up." he said quickly. The girls both were both taken back.

Angered Chloe bursted out, "Neither can tell me what to do." She stomped out of the room and left them to finally leave the class themselves.

Marinette watched Adrien watch her slam the door without a flinch and turn back to her. He smiled and she did as well. "Thanks."

He took her hand, placing a small peck. "That's what knights do."

She giggled and blushed.
