'Elli could do way better than Chris. Does she know about all the drama he's been the centre of here?'

'Jonas, nothing is going on between them. They are just really good friends.'

'Sure sure...'

'I'm serious, it's like her and William. No one ever thinks her and William are doing anything!'

'Why so defensive, Isak? You got a crush on her or something?'

'Nei! But she's my best friend, if she were to find out I wasn't defending her while she wasn't around to do it herself...'

'Whatever... I still think something's going on, and the reason no one think anything is going on between her and William is because William doesn't perve on her like Chris does...'

'But her and William actually did have something!'

'What?'

'Nothing.'

'Isak?'

'Shit. Alright, you have to promise not to tell anyone. I can trust you, right?'

'Of course!'

'Okay, it's not my story to tell... But her and William fucked at the start of the year.'

'Actually? She's got to have higher standards!'

'Yeah, you'd think... It was her first though...'

'Aah, that's quality! Imagine how people would react if that got out!'

'We won't ever have to know, will we, Jonas?'

'Ja, Ja... But it probably will come out though, Elli's practically famous around here. Why is that?'

'You get to know her a little bit more and you'll know.'

THAT NIGHT, SCHISTAD RESIDENCE

'Elli is still offline. Where the fuck is she...' Chris mumbled under his breath, staring down at his unread messages on his phone. It had been a few days since he'd last made any contact with Elli, and after her behaviour on Friday and other occasions, it worried him.

'What's that, Christoffer?' Asta asked her son, who was sitting on the couch across from her.

'Do you think Elli was acting a little weird on Saturday?' The male blurted, looking his mother straight in the eye.

'Yeah, I actually I do,' Asta said, taken aback, 'But it did seem like she was ridiculously embarrassed,' Chris let out a small laugh.

'Yeah, she would have been. She's actually pretty classy, doesn't get as drunk as she did on a regular basis,' Chris admitted, 'Ever, actually,' He added after thought.

'Sometimes people just get a little lost, you know?' Asta began, 'Just for a little bit, or a while, sometimes, but it seems as though she was a bit out of it to begin with?'

'Yeah, maybe, I'm sure she's fine now though, she's a tough chick.'
