MAR 10 2016

Elli's phone woke both Chris and her up, much to both teenagers' disdain.
'Hello?'
'Uh, hej?'
'Who's this?'
'Wow, you must be really sick if you aren't looking at your fucking caller ID!'
'Oh,' Elli pulled back from her phone to view the screen, 'William!'
'Bingo! There we go!'
'Uh! You asSHOLE-' Chris pulled the phone away from Elli's ear and mumbled something about calming the fuck down, 'Hmm. Sorry, William,' She continued in an ultra-sweet voice, 'Have you come to tell me how I ended up in your house with a bloodied up face and a concussion, or have to come to confess --finally-- why you have chosen not to tell me when you have known the whole time-'
'Ellinor Rasmussen!' Williams voice bellowed unexpectedly through the phone line, frightening Elli by the means of his unintentional (yet uncanny) impression of her fathers voice.

--

'So I am guessing you know as much as William does?'
'More or less, ja.'

'I am surrounded by shitheads.'

--

Elli and Chris were meeting William
Magnusson for an early afternoon brunch; they were going to discuss the situation that had occurred sometime last week.

--

'Yakuza.'
'What?'
'That's who beat us up. Yakuza.'
'Why?'
'Well, technically we started it... Ow! Chris! Anyways, we started it, kind of. It all began when some Yakuza guy called Iben ugly.'
'Iben, Iben?
'Ja, that Iben.'
'Okay, continue.'
'Okay, ja. So, basically Chris started a fight with this kid and he took it really hard.'
'Alright.'
'Mm..'
'How am I involved?'
'Uh, we don't really know...'
'Seriously? I thought you knew shit!'
'We do... But just not that shit...'
'Okay. I'm making a deal.'
'Uh... what do you mean?'
'Listen up;'
'Um. Okay?'
'You guys work your asses of to find out why I had to be beaten up. That's seems like the right thing to do, huh? Ja.'
'Yeah, Okay... but what's the, like, deal' part? What do we get in return?'
'Oh! Right! Well, in return, for you guys, I won't hate your fucking guts like I should!'
