Elli and Chris sat opposite of each other in Chris' pristine and obnoxiously white bedroom, the two had formerly been discussing the 'Nissen lifestyle' but had eventually faded off into their own things.

'You're gonna have to wait for me after school somewhere because I can't text you.' Elli interrupted the silence.

'Ja... We really need to get you a phone,' Chris said, placing his phone down. Elli raised her eyebrows.

'You don't have to do anything, I'm already taking too much from you guys...'

Chris muttered bullshit under his breath. He had noticed Elli had been trying to downplay her situation a bit, as in reality she wasn't taking to too much, she deserved to be taken care of and to be supported and talked too but she just could not get that through her head. He wondered if her father 'damaging' her mentally (and physically) had anything to do with it.

'What classes are you taking?' Chris asked, resulting in Elli pulled sheet of paper out of her track pants pocket and handed it to Chris:

'Jesus Christ! You never told me you were smart! Like, really smart... Fuck, science much?' Chris exclaimed, a wide smirk creeping onto his lips. Elli blushed slightly causing Chris to chuckle, 'Well,' He leaned forward against the table, 'Good news is we have Core Math together, should I expect some help in that?' Chris stood up and looked down at the girl.

'Ja, if you buy me iced coffees, of course,'

'Of course.'
