Chris' heart was on the floor.
He had made it, to Elli, but he hadn't made it.
Right in front of his eyes, Elli and Isak's lips were smashed against one another's.
Chris felt overwhelmed. He hadn't felt a lot of the feelings he was feeling before. He didn't know what they were or what they meant. All he knew is that they were shitty. Really, really shitty.
Chris eyed Isak (not they Isak was paying attention) and cursed under his breath; how had he not seen it? All that best friend crap was bullshit! They were in love with each other. Chris was one hundred percent sure.

Little did he know just how wrong he was.

'Who did you kiss?'
'I don't even know! Just got to imagine Noora's face. It's the only way I can think about anyone else.'
'Wow. You're really head over heels, huh?'
'Fuck I don't know. If I am though, I love it! That feeling, the feeling you get when you seem them and when they look at you. When they--'
'Shut the fuck up William.'
'Jesus. Not a good start to the year for you mate. Why is Chris so grumpy, Elli?'

Chris stormed out of the house. His emotions were in overdrive. And hearing William talk about Noora --he just couldn't handle that space anymore.
He pulled out his phone to call a cab. He would leave by himself, Elli could go fuck herself.

He couldn't leave her though, drunk and vulnerable. She wasn't her finest self when she got intoxicated and he feared her safety.
It's not like Isak would be any good at taking care of Elli.

Oh the rage he felt for that boy.
