You were the youngest of your family. You were only 16 while your brothers were grown adults. You had just received news that your brother Aiden did not make it back from the run. Everyone was devastated from his death. You felt like the weight of the world was on your shoulders. You were sitting on your porch steps. You didn't feel like talking to anyone and you just wanted to be alone. Jessie saw you alone on your porch. She heard what had happened and knew that you were struggling to cope with the loss of your brother. Being the kind woman she is, she walked over to your house.
"Hey Y/N. Are you doing OK?
You looked up and saw that it was Jessie. You saw Jessie as like a second mom. You were in fact dating her oldest son Ron. Jessie sits next to you and gives you a apologetic look.
"I could have been better"
"Look, I know it hurts right now. But it will get better"
