Trainee Life

You were at a café in Seoul and you were waiting for Himchan to come.

A few days had passed, where you haven't heard much about Yongguk and you figured it was due to his trainee life and the preparations. However, despite knowing the truth about his trainee life now and that he would debut next year, you still couldn't help but worry about your boyfriend and his health. It wasn't like Yongguk to not write or call you much either.

Hence you decided to contact his best friend Himchan and meet up with him. Himchan had agreed to meet you as he also missed you. The both of you agreed to meet at a café.

A few minutes later Himchan walked inside the café and you waved for him to come. The guy greeted you with a hug and he patted your back.

"How are you ____ah?" he asked as he squeezed your cheek, you whined in a cute way at his silly actions.

"I'm good oppa" you replied.

The both of you sat down and ordered your Iced Americanos. Himchan was dressed in blue jeans and a sweater and he had a scarf around his neck, which he took off.

You wanted to ask him how your boyfriend was really doing as he was working hard for the preparations.

"He's really busy with the preparations for the live shows" Himchan said and you nodded.

"I figured and that's why he hasn't had time to see me these past days" you said.

Himchan rubbed his neck and nodded.

"How are you dealing with it? The fact that he's debuting with me" Himchan asked curiously.

You knew he would ask you about this and you just told him your honest feelings.

"I'm glad he gets to do what he loves" you said "And I get why you kept it a secret from me, Yongguk is your close friend" you continued and he couldn't help but feel bad for not telling you.

However despite seeing how you supported his friend, Himchan could see through you that you were nervous. He couldn't help but feel that, as he knew how much the two of you love each other.

"Don't look at me like that" you groaned as you saw his worried expression and he chuckled.

"I'm okay, you should worry about yourself" you said.

Himchan laughed out loud and shook his head.

However the both of you got quiet, when you saw a pair of guys and girls standing in front of you. It was some of the guys, who your boyfriend worked with underground. Himchan got up and greeted them.

You watched Himchan as he talked with them and the guys mentioned about their company and debut.

"So Yongguk left Soul Connection" one of the guys said and he got your full attention.

You were surprised to hear that as you didn't hear about it. Soul Connection means a lot to Yongguk and you knew he probably had a hard time, because he had to leave his group.

As soon as the guys finished talking with Himchan you got up from your seat.

"I need to see him now" you said and Himchan frowned.

"He's at the company"

You groaned frustrated.

"He's okay, you don't have to worry about it" Himchan said with an ensuring smile.

The both of you left the café and you headed home.

Once you reached home you called your boyfriend and a few moments later he picked up the phone. Yongguk was panting as he spoke and you pouted.
