Fighting spirit burned throughout the battlefield. The two sides marched through the ground like armies of ants. The already dark battlefield was tainted with different colors under the light of the moon crystals above.

The higher leveled players in the Magi faction and some from the Abyss Battlefield however decided to stay back and wait for the boss to appear.

The battle just started but there were already a lot of deaths. Of course, this applied to the monsters' side who had lower intelligence since the ones put on vanguard were mostly weak monsters.

A loud explosion occurred on a certain area of the battlefield. A large group of monsters of the similar species were sent flying and exploded into fragments of lights.

Kian's mouth couldn't help but twitched. That attack from just know came from a hammer wielding warrior that used his fighting spirit to create an explosion.

He also didn't stay idle as the battle started. He intended to accumulate a lof rune stones in this battle while he was at it. In fact, that was also the aim of the weaker players in joining this battle.

"Absorb" a cosmage wearing green robes flew into the air and waved his staff.

Suddenly, the air around a hundred meters in circumference were pulled out and entered the staff. The area was quickly turned into a vacuum, sucking all the air that tried to enter.

The monsters also functioned the same as humans. They also needed to eat, breathe, and sleep. After they discovered that they couldn't breath, they started to go wild. However, only a few decided to run away. Most of them thought they were being attacked by their peers.

After a few minutes of suffocation , the poor monsters couldn't hold it in anymore and fell unconscious into the ground. The cosmage left after that, well aware that the monsters would either die from brain damage or get trampled by fellow monsters.

"Scary" a cold chill passed through Kian's back as he watched the spectacle. At the same, he made a mental note to make an AoE skill like that in the future.

The monsters killed were only a minority. The waves of monsters were still unstoppable.

The players couldn't help but glance in frustration at the large mansion
It was gigantic and almost reached the clouds. Its owner however still haven't appeared. If they could get rid of it, this overflow would be easily stopped.

Now that it was near, its speed was as slow as a turtle. It was quite similar to a ship that arrived in the docks. This meant that the main battle was about to start.

"The Mansion Owner Vampire is about to appear. Quickly kill its goons!" someone shouted.

Rains of skills drowned the battlefield. The players had seemingly gone wild.

The overall results of the alliance between the two schools was amazing. There were no deaths at all since several cosmages roamed the battlefield. Thus, the place turned into a levelling field for the players.

Even Kian could feel that his stats and proficiency in skills were steadily rising. The continous rise in his stats made him feel stronger even though he couldn't level up anymore with the rank restriction.

When he felt exhausted, he returned to the back to get healed by the support team.

Suddenly, a wave of invisible energy was emitted from the gigantic mansion in the air. The stones doors which were tightly closed slowly opened bringing with it a cold rush of wind.

At the doorway, a man stood looking down on the battlefield. His appearance wasn't quite clear before he stepped into the light. When he did so, everyone was able to take a good look at him.

He had a skin as white as snow. A red flowing cloak was draped over his body. His black and elegant suit slightly peeked through the cloak. On his right hand was a glass filled with thick black wine.

When the light of the moon crystal above shone on him, he made an unpleasant face. With a snort, he threw the glass of wine in the air. The glass broke and turned into a screen of black light that teduced the lighting of the already dark battlefield.

The players got tense. They could barely see anything right now.

The people at the back in charge of giving support quickly took action. They took out various forms of lighting and distributed them among the battlefield.

The man had a sneer on his face as he slowly stepped into the air. He didn't fall and hovered as he slowly descended. When he was only a few dozen meters away from the ground, he suddenly spoke with a soul bewitching voice.

"Humans. Bow down to me, Count Dugu!" His words were slow and arrogant.

As he spoke, huge pressure descended into the battlefield. The Mansion Owner Vampire haa finally arrived.
