Kian couldn't help but nod at the sight of the half-excelcises that numbered over a dozen inside the huge training room. Each of them were performing various feats that are not normally possible for humans.

In a certain corner of the training room, a man lifted a huge block of metal that weighed at least fifty kilos as if it was nothing and even tossed it into the air like it was a piece of pebble.

"As expected. The Evolution Elixer is really effective in creating superhuman troops in a short period of time." Kian said and smiled from satisfaction.

The Evolution Elixer is the term he used for the white liquid produced by the horns of the fortisians. After distributing the remaining vials among the best fighters among the half-excelcises, their powers skyrocketed.

"With this, they can already fight without worry from the sun's radiation." Mayne by his side spoke.

He was also one of the people who recieved the vial. This was given because aside from his leading capabilities, he's also the one who was the best in combat after Kian.

"Thankfully, they managed to get used to their powers in just two weeks. With this, we can now resume our war against the aliens. By the way, how's the contact with the Mother Earth Alliance?" Kian asked Mayne, a frown was visible on his face as he did so.

Mayne sighed and shook his head at Kian's question.

"It's bad, I'm telling you. With all the space and time distortions, signals can barely be sent. Moreover, it seems they also have their hands full protecting the normal humans from the aliens. It seems we can't request help from them." Mayne replied.

"That's a shame." Kian sighed.

After the short talk with Mayne, Kian fell into deep thought. There were a lot of things bugging him ever since the change in his black crystal halo. Moreover, the ominous feeling that he had back when the strange wave appeared from the space crystal veins didn't disappear in the past two weeks but only intensified.

"They're definitely coming to get it." He muttered under his breath.

Suddenly, alarm sounds rang out throughout the whole base. Everyone became alert and headed to the control room where most of the emergency meetings were held.

When they arrived, they saw in the screen the scene of two huge battleships in the sky floating just above the desert where they were located. One of them was shaped like a ring while the other was a huge round sphere.

"W-whata going on?" Someone asked in exasperation.

"It's the aliens. They came knocking for trouble and it seems it's the main force this time." Fidel approached Kian and Mayne and told them about the situation.

The two became silent for a while before Mayne decided to give the orders.

"For now, transfer the civilians to a safe area. As for the fighters, tell them to prepare themselves and get ready at their assigned posts. It seems that a full blown war had just started." Mayne said.

"Understood." Fidel replied and quickly did as he was told.

An hour later, huge vehicles carrying with them weapons of war were lined up outside the base. They were all gathered from the other bases that the humans had conquered. Despite these, the half-excelcises wete still nervous. After all, what they had were probably lower tier weapons compared to what the main fleet had.

The battleships of the two alien races also halted at the sky. The mutliple entrances present slowly opened. The scene of vehicles of war and fortisians and fluctusans descending appeared and made the atmosphere even more tense.

"Don't mind their show of power. Just remember you're not normal humans now. Just charge straight and beat the crap out of them!" Mayne gave a crude battle speech.

Currently, Kian and the other half-excelcises were inside the pod shaped vehicles. The vehicles had a huge cannon that could rotate at three hundred and sixty degrees that could fire a concentrated beam of psyche energy.

Each of the pods were occupied by five half-excelcises who would pool their psyche energies into a machine which would be used by the vehicle to attack. Only Kian was seated in solo in a vehicle.

These pods were taken from the bases of fluctusans. They were to remain in standby until the battle became heavy enough.

At the front, about a dozen half-excelcises were stationed. Each of them rode a hoverboard and had weapons that were used by the fortisians. These fighters were the ones who used the Evolution Elixer to strengthen their bodies.

Aside from that, there were also normal humans who were courageous enough to fight the enemies by riding some special vehicles that didn't need special energies to attack.

At the aliens' side, it was also the same. It seems that their weapons were really better than the humans. Most of what they used looked better as if they were the upgraded versions of what the Half-Excelcises used.

Suddenly, a huge holograpich screen appeared in the sky. It revealed a man with a huge bone crown on his head.

"Humans. We are Superbia Fortis III, emperor of the fortisian race. This emperor is giving you ten seconds to surrender and became our slaves. Otherwise, prepare for annihilation." the man who introduced himself as the emperor of the fortisian race said in a deep voice full of authority.

The humans were quite intimidated by his speech but none of them spoke. Instead, Kian and the other leaders were preparing ways to deal with the current line up that the enemies had.

Soon, the ten seconds the emperor of the fortisians gave was up.

"Since none of you are willing to surrender then prepared to be pulverized to dust." The emperor said and looked down at the people below with a cold gaze before the holographic screen disappeared.

The moment the screen was gone, an atmosphere that was like a dragon waking up from its slumber appeared across the battlefield and descended upon the people in the desert.
