Amy lead Kian to a small park located inside the academy. The place was surrounded by artistically trimmed hedges of plants. There was also a huge fountain on the center which served as a center of attraction.

Ahead of him was a gazebo. They were still far away but Kian could already spot a familiar face. It was a blond wearing fitted silver armor, a long sword on his waist, and red cape on his back. He was disgustingly similar to a Prince Charming in a fairy tale story.

The guy was surrounded by a couple of ladies. It seems he said something since they broke out in a flutter of laughs and giggles.

He seemed to notice Kian and Amy approaching and excused himself from the harem that gathered aorund him.

"My Darling!" he screamed and after a couple of quick strides, he leaped at Kian who was just about to greet him.

Kian became dumbfounded for a second before he shockingly turned shy, his face a shade of red.

"I-I'm home, darling" he said slowly.

Soon, a scene of two guys hugging each other full of emotions came in to view. The little sister behind was ignored as the two fell into their own world.

"The two of you... Drop dead!" Amy knocked her bow on the two guy's heads.

The two broke out from their hugs and a series of laughter followed for a few minutes.

Who knows if those laughs were because they were too happy to see each other again or just to hide the depression and stress caused by this game to each other. After all, they were guys. The world would judge them if they even show an iota of sadness on their faces.

"Joking aside. Let's get you out of here" George said after they recovered.

He lead Kian and Amy to his room in the dormitories.

The room was enormous. The rent must've costed a lot. George lead them to the living room where there was even a sofa. The only thing missing was a set of television and speakers.

What surprised Kian the most was that Amy entered the place as if it was normal. She even acted as if she was used to be in here. He narrowed his eyes at George, currently named as Kaiser who returned an awkward smile at him.

"So, what's up?" Kian started.

The two quickly turned gloomy. George and Amy exchanged glances for a second before George turned to face himmKian couldn't help but become suspicious and a certain thought flashed into his mind.

"Bro. Y-you. I trusted you yet you actually... You actually touched my sister!" Kian stood up and pointed his finger at the blond who in return was surprised.

"Wait. That's not it. This girl kicks balls. How could I ever touch her?" George quickly defended himself.

"Oh" Kian said and sat down.

"You came at the wrong. Currently, players from the Gloom Faction aren't welcomed here" George said in a serious tone.

From his words, Kian immediately recalled the stares he had been receiving when he entered the city. He first thought it must just be the rivalry between the two factions but it must be different this time.

"A few days ago, reports of players being PK'd spread. At first, few believed it but then survivors appeared. They said that the culprits where from the Gloom Faction. Specifically, the Gloom Magi" George continued.

"What? How could that be? If you die here, you would really die." Kian couldn't believe what he had just heard. Even in Shade Academy where a lot of criminal like people lurked, none of this happened.

"It's true. The guy next door was a survivor. Right now, he still had that crazy look of his. What he had witnessed must've really traumatized him. Besides, there are still a few people who believe that death here was not possible" George couldn't help but sigh.

"And some people even took their lives" Amy said with tears on her eyes.

Kian couldn't help but get depressed especially by what Amy said. After all, there were a lot of cases like that back on the academy.

"Well, you don't have to worry about it too much. They won't make it difficult for you as long as we're by your side. Just don't go walking alone.  People would find trouble with you to vent their anger." George reminded him with a smile.

"Anyway, tell us about your journey. I heard that lots of monsters are in he wilderness that you passed by. Quick! Tell us your heroic deeds and tales of love" George said and quickly changed the mood.

Since Kian didn't want to talk about these things anymore, he agreed and recounted his experiences. He even exaggerated a bit to make George who haven't gone on a long adventure turn envious which worked just as he planned.

The two also shared their experiences in this academy which gave Kian a lot of information about the Radiant Faction.

Their battle pets also socialized on the side. Surprisingly, Amy's Battle Pet was also a cat named Janet. Xian, who was about to flirt with her was quickly stopped by Kian.

"She's my sister's battle pet. Since you're my battle pet, then Janet is also your sister" Kian said in a tone as if it was a matter of fact.

"T-the logic?" Xian couldn't help but become exasperated.

Soon, night came. After eating dinner outside, they returned to their rooms. Since there was a guest room in George's luxurious dormitory room, Kian didn't have to pay for an Inn anymore.

Since they were all tired, the gap quickly headed to bed to take their rest. However, Kian didn't do so. He took out a chest and a key, his face full of excitement.
