Carrie yawned, leaning back on her pillow. Looking over at the door, Carrie sighed, waiting for Harrison to come upstairs.

She got out of bed, sluggishly making her way to the bathroom. Carrie only poked herself in the eye once taking out her contacts. She blinked a few times, trying to get the dryness out from wearing them all day.

Putting in a few eye drops, she gave up, putting her glasses on and going back to bed. Walking past Harrison's jacket from this evening, she saw a small piece of paper and what looked like a picture sticking out.

Carrie stared at it for a few seconds before deciding to check it out. She pulled the pieces from his jacket, taking them with her as she slid under the covers.

Going through the items, she realized she accidentally grabbed his wallet as well. The paper rested on his wallet, while the pictures stuck out from inside.

She opened his wallet, a few pictures falling out. There were some from the wedding Rachel manually developed. Carrie smiled at the one of the two of them staring out in the distance with Chance sitting in front of her.

There was a bark and a bang as Chance thundered in. The poor thing slid on the hardwood floor in the hallway, slamming off the door frame. He seemed to be okay since he jumped up on the bed, knocking the pictures from Carrie's hands.

"Chance!" But she couldn't be mad at him. He was too adorable. "Come here buddy."

He dove at her, just landing to her side. "Who's a good boy?" He barked. "Yes you are!"

Carrie rubbed his side, moving to his belly as he turned. Chance let out a groan before rolling back on his side. She continued to pet him while getting the pictures back together.

After finding all the pictures, pulling a few out from under her dog, Carrie laid her head on Chance's back. With her left arm, she placed the rest of the things on his back.

She started going through the pictures again. The first one was of her holding a football, and Harrison with his arms around her, pretending to tackle her. The next one was of him holding her bridal style as they kissed.

Carrie finished going through the pictures, her head still on Chance's back. Next was his wallet. Going through that, she teared up at all the memories he had in there. Every picture was of the two of them, from the time they started dating until now.

Reaching for the small piece of paper, she unfolded it, surprised to see it was his handwritten vows he must've drafted sometime before the wedding. Carrie read it to herself. Hearing it for the second time was still enough to get her to cry again.

She reread it again, wiping the tears away. Just to hear the words come out of his mouth this afternoon, Carrie never thought someone could love her as much as he did. Her past experience often stood in the way of that. And she never thought she could love someone as much as she loved him.

"Are you okay?" He asked, peeking around the doorway.

Carrie nodded, holding up the piece of paper. "Oh, so somebody's been doing some snooping around in my stuff, huh?"

She smiled, showing him the other pictures. "Yes I have."

Harrison made his way across the bedroom. "What if there was something in there I didn't want you to see?" He asked with a smirk.

"I know you wouldn't do that to me," she answered.

"You could be wrong," he teased while going over to his jacket.

Carrie raised an eyebrow as he picked up his jacket, reaching inside for a card. Harrison brought it over, slipping under the covers as she opened it. It was a wedding card. She looked at him one more time before opening it.

Inside were two plane tickets to the London airport. Behind the tickets was a message.

Pick 2 places you'd always dreamt of visiting. I'll pick the other 2. We'll take a trip across the world, just you and me. This will be a trip we'll never forget.

~Love Harrison

He knew she would want to go to Europe based on the plane tickets to London. Carrie definitely wanted to go to Paris, and he'd been talking about going to Italy.

"We leave in two weeks."

"You're kidding!?"

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" He asked.

Her hand shot to her mouth as she gasped. "I can't believe it!" Carrie squealed.

"Well you better believe it because it's happening."

Carrie rolled over, away from Chance and into his embrace. "You're amazing!"

"I know."

Wrapping one of her legs around him, she kissed him. He deepened the kiss as she yanked off her glasses and threw them on the side table behind her.

Harrison rolled on his back so she was now sitting on him. "How many fingers am I holding up?" He asked.

Carrie slapped her husband's chest before kissing him once again. "I'm not that blind," she muttered in between kisses.

"Uh huh."

She sat up with a smile. "Stop it! You have contacts too so I don't wanna hear it!"

He laughed as she pouted. "Alright I'm sorry."

"That's better."

Harrison pulled her in for yet again another kiss. His hands slid down her sides and to her waist where he untucked her shirt.

"Easy hotshot!" Carrie scolded, grabbing his hands and pressing them to the pillow behind his head. "We've got company. And I don't think that company is moving at all tonight."

They both looked at Chance laying on the edge of Carrie's side of the bed. He rested his head on his paws and just watched them.

Harrison put his hands back on her waist. Catching them for the second time, she told him, "we've got a lot to do tomorrow and-" Carrie was stopped by a yawn she caught from her dog. "And I'm not feeling that tonight. You'll just have to wait," she whispered, pressing her forehead to his before rolling off him.

"But I hate waiting!" He protested.

"Too bad," she giggled, her back now facing him.

He rolled his eyes before putting his arms around his wife as she cleaned up the card and his wallet off the dog. Once he felt her lean back against him, he closed his eyes.

I'm really tempted to write a sequel that would take place after "Your Chance." I think I could write around the epilogue. I don't know, would you guys want another book?
