(Lily's pov)

The neutral land.

The crowd of people, humans and werewolves all together in a city of neutral land, for humans it is just a normal city but for us rogues it is a place of shelter where it is ok to go in the forest without being attacked because of territory trespassing.

Some werewolves from near by packs come to the city for shopping or business with the cooperations here basically to establish contacts, that is what Jenn told me. She still tries to seem happy but she fails miserably.

She got abused AND raped ! Why the heck does she pretend like all things are rainbows and unicorns?!

Lily, we talked about that.

Hmph.

I promised Dahlia to give Jenn some time, it pisses me off that she pretends to be happy, in the end she just hurts herself.

I am not the person who can help, it's her mate who will break her facade.

I know in fact that she still doesn't trust me, she's afraid of me. Her permanent flinching is annoying, I have to keep myself from snapping at her.

I helped her why would I hurt her?

"I have some money that I saved up, we can stay at some motel for a night until we figure out where we are going," Jenn said

"Sounds good" I answer shortly, my head is buzzing.

I hate headaches.

They started since I met that creepy guy in the forest, scratch that it started since I saw the alpha of the Redmoon pack but it wasn't they slowly became worse after I met Jenn, that creep put the cherry on top.

I stopped in my tracks to the motel when I heard a breathy whisper.

04.15.XXXX

Jenn Parsons left the Redmoon pack, after being abused for about a year.

#$@%*

Dahlia, did you say something?

...No.

What was that voice? It said yesterday's date.

Maybe you just imagined it.

My headache is getting worse, I am beginning to imagine things.

She nodded in my head.

Do you really think I am that ignorant to not see that you are lying to me?
I think that year really made you forgetful.

You are mean.

She said pouting (if that is even possible for a wolf.)

"Are you ok?" Jenn asked me, her big hazel eyes showed honest concern.

Don't look at me like that, you should worry about yourself.

"I am ok, just a headache" I smiled at her, ruffling her hair. "Worry about yourself, you look like they starved you for days"

Why am I smiling? I think I need psychological help.

She really looks like-...like she is making her way into your heart.

Before I could answer her Jenn interrupted me by her giggle.

"Can't say you look better." She arched an eyebrow at me.

Hah, buuurn.

I rolled my eyes at her childish behaviour.

Suddenly she had an serious expression on."Lily, you don't have to answer if you don't want to.."
