(Arian's pov)

Jake has brough a pissed Jenn back, apparently she wasn't even an hour there and Zaire wanted her back.

I guess he is trying hard to give her freedom but then his vision pushes him to see her, to have her by his side if something horrible happens to her.

I know that feeling.

After the dream I had, I didn't want to leave Jake for a second. It terrified me to think if he left my side that horrible dream would come true.

That nightmare.

Zaire might not know it, but I might be the only person who knows how he feels.

Not only that but as an Alpha his vision might become true, Jenn is in real danger.

"What is wrong, Jake?" I tilted my head to look at a lost in thoughts frowning Jake.

"I am just worried about Zaire, he has been a wreck lately and he doesn't tell me a thing. And there is also the problem with..." he mumbled.

"With what?" I pressed my lips in a thin line as I waited for his answer.

He sighed "There has been a few cases where we found killed pack members, it has been 3 within the last three days Zaire is trying his best to keep the pack members calm since all cases has been somewhere on the borders we suspect a rogue."

My eyes went wide at this information.

I gritted my teeth, frustration rising in me. Why does it seem that everytime I think I figured things out, a new problems greets me.

The question is, is it really a rogue? With the timing that killer has, it could also be Liam and these three deaths are warnings. Warnings for what is to come.

"Why haven't you told me that before?" I groaned. This new puzzle piece doesn't seem to fit anywhere in the unfinished end picture.

"Out of the same reason you seem to not tell me anything" he flicked my forehead "and Zaire ordered me to keep my mouth shut"

"No need to get sassy Boy" I rubbed my forehead.

"You haven't seen sassy me yet Love" he smirked at me. I haven't noticed that we arrived at the orphanage untill Jake stopped to open the door.

"No toys this time?" I brushed past him in.

"I was told to stop spoiling the children here so much, I got a warning that I will be kicked out if I cross here with another set of toys" he chuckled probably remembering the threats.

"Mhm. Jake, how are your headaches? Do Savannah's wonder medicine help?" I asked. It is unsettling to see him clutch his head too many times a day or even pass out because of them.

"It is okay, nothing I can't handle" he gave me a reassuring smile.

"...if you say so" I nodded still unconvinced.

Savannah said he always had light headaches since he came here, but it seems that the older he got, the worse they became.

Now they are to the point where Jake passes out if they get too much. Something is definitely wrong with him.

We we walking around the a park after we grabbed some ice cream, which surprised me was that there was an open ice place seeing that it is fall. In this chilly weather it was not the perfect idea to eat the icy dessert but the sweet sour taste of my strawberry ice was worth it.
