Jake was currently downstairs. Since the girl has requested an official admission into the pack, the Alpha and Luna had to talk to her privately.

Much to his dismay.

Zaire was pacing around his office, Jenn was sitting on his chair just staring at Arian in complete disbelief. Arian was sitting on the same chair she had once, more than a year ago, with the same witty smirk on her lips.

"What are you?" Zaire stopped and looked at her. He couldn't believe that Arian was sitting right in front of them. And he had a lot of questions floating in his mind and he knew so did Jenn. But he settled on the newst question that popped up and that is...

How is she human?

"I am a werewolf, duh" she rolled her brown eyes.

"But your scent..." Jenn muttered in confusion. Arian guessed that it would be the first question they would ask, and she was right.

"Dispite my scent I am 100% a werewolf who is capable of shifting. Do you think I would have the audacity to cross here and demand to be a part of this pack if I was a defenceless human? Don't be ridiculous." Arian snorted at the thought.

She didn't want to be here. She refused all this time to come back but now she is here. And until now she doesn't regret it yet.

Arian's gaze crossed with Jenn, she smiled at her curtly. Something must have ignited in Jenn. A deep frown gracing her soft features, Arian noticed that she had cut her hair since the last time she has seen her.

Jenn practically jumped off the chair, she slammed her hands down on the table. The crack that Jake once had made growing.

Her voice took a dangerous depth, the hurt and despair clear in it "You walk here in with your smirk and brown eyes, talk to us like nothing happened after you just disappeard and left a knocked out Jake! I swear if you smirk at me one more time I will break your neck." Jenn growled out.

Arian's eyes widen in shock, she had never seen Jenn this furious. Zaire now stood beside her trying to calm her down.

Arian looked to her left glancing at the countless books "Where is your baby? She or he should be around three months old if I am not wrong. Can I see her or him?"

She completely ignored Jenn's threat.

"LET ME AT HER!" Jenn jumped on the table letting out a growl. Zaire wrapped an arm around her waist before she could scratch out Arian's eyes.

"Calm down, Hazel. We didn't give her a chance to explain"

Arian was surprised to see Zaire the one who is keeping his temper at check. She would have expected Jenn to be the last one to be this mad at her.

"Can we do that later, I want to see the little one" Arian turned to them.

Jenn looked up to Zaire who was still holding her "Can I now scratch her eyes out?" She huffed.

"No" Zaire chuckled and kissed her cheek before letting her go.

"Come, Nora is currently sleeping so just be quiet" Zaire opened the office door waving his hand for her to follow him. She stood up and followed, she could feel Jenn glaring daggers at her from the back. Arian chuckled inwardly.

I really did miss them.

Zaire opened their bedroom door, a white crib which had white lace above it covering the sides.

"Nora, is her name" Zaire whispered.  Arian cautiously took slow step towards the crib. Arian smiled softly at the sleeping goddess in front of her. She had a cute nose and chubby cheeks that made Arian's hand twitch.

It is better if she stays asleep.

"Come here, sweety" Jenn spoke softly as she picked up Nora from her crib.

Arian's protests were too late as the doe eyed baby opened her hazel eyes yawning.

Arian sighed and quickly covered her ears. Jenn rocked Nora in her arms a frown taking place on her face.

"What are you-" her words were cut off the moment Nora laid eyes on Arian. A crippling scream left the baby's lips.

Nora screamed at the top of her little lunges tears rolling down her adorable cheeks. Her heart wrenching cries deafening.

Jenn held her away from her cringing. Zaire copied Arian and covered his ears.

"My bad, should have warned you" Arian raised her voice a little and walked out of the room which made Nora simultaneously stop her cries abruptly. Seconds after that she started to squeal at her mom happily.

Arian lowered her hands sighing in relief.

Zaire sighed as he came out of the room, closing it behind him. "What the...-fudge was that?" He asked Arian while massaging his temples.

"Fudge?" Arian asked amused.

"I am trying to stop swearing, being a parent has its perks" he retorted sarcastically.

Steps came closer, Arian knew he would come up. Who wouldn't after that.

"What was that? I am sorry for coming upstairs but I heard Nora crying and...then stop abruptly. Is everyrhing alright?" Jake glanced at Arian before turning to Zaire.

"Yes, everything is fine. You can go back" Zaire tried to oppress the smile that threatened to escape. He saw that Jake just wanted an excuse to see Arian, not that he wasn't worried about Nora.

"Oh,..Okay" he scratched the back of his neck and went downstairs again.

"Now, back to what happened" Zaire crossed his arms in front of his chest.

Arian didn't expect him to let it go, she was tempted to tell him to be like Elsa but she didn't dare to compare the high and mighty Alpha to a Disney princess.

"Babies can't stand me very much. But good news, toddlers don't care" she beamed sarcastically at him. Arian started to walk back to his office, Zaire following her.

"Why that?" Zaire snorted.

Arian stopped abruptly, Zaire bumped into Arian, her abrupt stop confusing him. "What is?" He stepped back.

Arian tilted her head to her side, her eyes glancing back at him. Her voice turning cold letting a shiver run down Zaire's back.

Her eyes turned a shade darker.

"Because I killed the Moon Goddess" Arian spoke clearly leaving no room for doubt in her words.
