Part 8: Meeting the Headmaster

Once we were inside the academy, I noticed students wearing the same uniform, but they differ in color.

Everything seemed normal, I thought I'd be seeing students using magic everywhere. Although I could feel the atmosphere here was much different from the normal human school.

As we passed by the students, some of them were looking at us. Some bowed along the way.

I wonder why?

Tumingin ako sa mga kasamahan ko, you could feel the superiority that's radiating from them. Malaki ang respeto ng mga tao sa mga kasama ko.

Ang iba sa akin nakatingin, nagtatanong ang mga mata bakit nila ako kasama.

Nakaka intimidate silang kasama pero pinagkibik-balikat ko nalang nararamdaman ko, 

"Let's go, gusto ka na makilala ni Headmaster" Jenny told me, may kasiyahan sa kanyang mga mata.

Hinila nila ako papunta sa isang lugar until we stopped in front of a door.

It must be the office of the headmaster. Maingat na kumatok si Jenny.

Then there's this voice that said "Come in"

Ninerbiyos ako sa takot at nanlamig ang mga palad ko.

We went inside the office, May pigura ng tao na nakatayo sa may bintana, he was looking outside the window. He was observing the students playing in the field.

Nang maramdaman na niya ang mga presensya na namin, he turned around.

He must be the headmaster?

I looked at him and he didn't say anything. I could see that he was a man of authority and discipline.

''Excellent job guys, you may leave us alone now." the man spoke habang nakatingin sa akin.

"Yes, Headmaster" sabay sabay nilang sabi.

Before they left the room, I saw Jenny say some words. It says Good Luck.

Tumango lang ako.

The man looked so young and he's handsome. He's around thirty, too young to be a headmaster. He had black hair with green eyes,

He charmingly smiled at me and spoke.

"Hello, I'm the headmaster of this academy and I'm Apollo."

"K-inagagalak ko po kayo makilala" nauutal kong sabi.

"I know you just arrived so you may take a rest first, Jenny will tour you around the academy. You'll start tomorrow and your uniform is in your room" pagpapaliwanag nito.

Hindi ako sumagot dahil pakiramdam ko masyado mabilis ang lahat.

He understood my dilemma, He told me "Don't worry, you'll be fine. Sina Jenny na ang bahala sa'yo" he assured me.

I nodded as a response. ''Salamat po"

Tumawa siya at hinawakan ako sa balikat "Magiging maayos ang lahat Claire"

"Sige na, you may take your leave" ma-authoridad nitong sabi.

"T--hank you po headmaster" Papunta ako sa may pinto at ipipihit ko na sana ang doorknob to take may leave ng magsalita ulit  si Sir Apollo.

"And one more thing Claire" pahabol nitong. 

Lumingo ako kay Sir Apollo,  kampante itong nakatayo while his arm crossed above his chest.

"Claire, huwag kang mabibigla sa mga malalaman mo sa academy" he gave me a crook smile. There was something about his smile, and his eyes reflected amusement.

I stared at him, a confused expression on my face.

In the end, I just bowed at him as a sign of respect and left.

Once I was out of his office, napasandal ako sa pinto. Napabuntong hininga ako, taking all the air inside my chest out.

I was curious about what Headmaster Apollo told me. Huwag mabibigla saan?

I had wished that everything would be all right, especially with my new life here as a student.
