I sighed as I looked over the wedding plans. It was two months away and I was really nervous about it. Not about re-marrying Tyler, but about the wedding in general. For the past few weeks, my focus has been on Tyson. He's two months today, on Christmas Eve. Tyler had the wedding under control but I wanted to go through and double check some things.

"Um, Tyson said that he wants to spend time with his momma like right now." Tyler said, walking into our office holding the baby. I rose an eyebrow up at him.

"And how do you know that?" I asked him with a ghost of a smile.

"He told me." He said with the most serious face ever.

"Tyler, he's two months. He can't talk yet." I told him.

"I read his mind sometimes." He shrugged. I laughed at my goofy husband and reached out for him. He smiled at me as I played with Tyson. He giggled as much as he pleased and stared right back up at me.

"Baby, I was going through the list and saw that Malik hadn't sent in his head count yet." I said to Tyler. He shrugged.

"Malik has had a run in with a few old friends last week. When we were working out yesterday, he was stuck on which woman he wanted to invite but I think he made a decision." He told me. I rolled my eyes. Malik was a typical ladies man in high school and he still is. Speaking of which, I looked down at my phone as a call from my twin brother came in. I sighed then answered the phone.

"This should be good." I said to Tyler. He chuckled.

"The next time I see you look at her like that, it'll be more than a broken nose!" I heard him shout. I shook my head and put the phone on speaker.

"You better not be fighting, Malik Fernando Smith!" I said into that phone. I shot Tyler a look as he sat there snickering at Malik's middle name. I couldn't help but laugh too. But then again, I couldn't say much. My middle name was Beatrice.

"Hold on sis. Say what? Wanna repeat that to me one more time? Cause I think I got one more ass whooping calling your name bro, and real talk, you about two point five seconds form receiving it. Huh? Yeah, that's what I thought. Go on somewhere so I can talk to my sister." He said to whoever he was arguing with. I heard him sigh. "Hey, Elle."

"What was it about this time, Malik?" I asked him with a sigh matching his.

"My fiancé." He said. I did a double-take.

"Your what now?" I asked him.

"My fiancé, Elle. Keep up man. He was talking about how fine she was and was eye raping her. Even tried to spit game, bruh. I wasn't having that. Then dude shoved me, thinking I was gonna walk away. I walked away alright. I turned then broke his little nose."

"Why are you so violent?" I asked.

"No biggie, I'd do the same for you. Probably worse." He said. I could feel the carefree attitude roll off him in waves.

"Mhm, sure. But if you end up in jail, I won't be bailing you out."

"I bet my brother will."

"Thomas and Gabe aren't thinking about you right now, Malik." I told him with a small laugh.

"I'm talking about my white brother. Ty would come get me." He said. Tyler only shrugged.

"I think Tyler would much rather stay home with his beautiful wife and son than go bail his brother in law out of jail, don't you think?" Malik laughed.

"Sure whatever. I just called to make my little reservation thing. It's gonna be me and my fiancé. We would both like chicken." He told me. I wrote down the information and closed the book. My stuff was finally done. I handed it over to Tyler.

"I'm still stuck on the fact that you have a fiancé. Does momma know?" I asked him.

"She will after your wedding."

"That's unexpected. Tell her before the wedding so everyone will be in good spirits." I told him.

"Look, no one said anything when you came home with Tyler out of the blue, did they? No. In fact, I remember correctly, y'all were married so there. Leave me alone about this. Send a fist bump to Chicken Nugget for me." He said and hung up. I shook my head.

"He didn't even tell us her name." I said to Tyler. He laughed and shook his head too. I smiled down at Tyson. He cracked a smile, showing off his gums. Ty had the cutest dimples. Tyler had dimples too but they weren't on his face.

"You're gonna break some hearts one day, boy." I said to him.

"Like father like son." I heard Tyler say. I rolled my eyes.

"Let's not go down that road, babe." I said. He laughed, making me laugh along with him. I smiled.

"I barely remember breaking hearts, but I will always remember the girl who came close to breaking mine." He said with a smirk. I smirked back.

"Last time I checked, you said you were heartbroken, not close to it, but okay. Whatever floats your boat, hun." I told him. He laughed. Man I loved him. He clapped his hands together.

"Alright, transport Tyson to the kitchen, momma Caldwell. It's time for him to watch his dad make cookies for Santa." Tyler said. I looked at him puzzled.

"And why are we making cookies for the big jolly man? Tyson doesn't even know who Santa is." I said.

"It's his first Christmas, babe. Two months or not, he's still gotta participate in these things. And believe it or not, if he was due in February and you were still carrying him, we'd still take part in this." He said. I laughed at my husband.

"Tyson, if you can remember this, I'm pretty sure this would be one of your best "firsts" ever." I said to our son as I followed Tyler to the kitchen.

"Everyone all buckled up?" Tyler asked as he got into the truck. I nodded and reached back to give Tyson his toy. I smiled at him through the small rear view mirror accessory that someone gifted to us. Today was Christmas and we were spending time with the Caldwells today. Well, we were the Caldwells haha. I guess I should've just said Tyler's parents.

"Alright Mrs. Caldwell and Tyson Caldwell, y'all ready to go?" Tyler asked with a smile. I playfully rolled my eyes with a smile.

"Waiting on you to move the vehicle, Mr. Caldwell." I told him. He laughed and put the truck in reverse to leave the garage. I couldn't help but think back to Tyson. It was his first Christmas already! Just two months back, I was holding him in my arms around this time, leaving the hospital. As a newborn he seemed so small. Now, he was getting bigger by the day. He grew and he grew. And more and more, he looked like Tyler.

"Aaahhh, la la la, na na, nom nom nom." Tyson said from his seat. Tyler and I laughed. He loved to make these little sounds that made him sound as if he was singing. It was too adorable.

"I'm gonna have a twin walking around here soon." Tyler once told me.

I smiled at the thought of my boys. Hm, my boys. I liked the sound of that. No, I loved the sound of that.
