Richie's POV
I rushed to the hospital after the message Eddie sent me.
"Eddie: He's waiting for you...
Eddie: WE are waiting for you ❤"
I parked my car and ran to the front door, as soon as he saw me he ran into my arms.
"Finally, you're here!" He said. "C'mon, he's waiting for you."
We entered the hospital, the doctor talked to us and lead us to Michael's room.
"Hey..." Eddie said. "Looks who arrived."
"Daddy!" Michael said, hugging me.
"Hi, big boy!"
We talked a lot, and then, suddenly, Michael's smile faded.
"What happened, Michael?" Eddie asked in concern.
"You know... In school, one boy started to make fun of me, saying that I have two dads."
"I knew it would come..." Eddie muttered at me.
Michael started crying.
"They just kept laughing and screaming Two dads." He said, sobbing.
"Hey... Mike, Son... Listen... There's nothing wrong to have two equal parents, we are a family and that's all that matters." I said, stroking his hair.
"I know that. I tried to defend you, but I couldn't... they didn't let me do it."
"You don't need to... You just let them do it..." Eddie said, getting closer to us. "Don't worry... All the bad things they do, it'll return to them in a very worse way."
"Wait... I learned this one day... It's Karma."
"See? You're a smart boy... So don't mind these comments. They're just awful people who doesn't know how to take care of their own lives."
"But you should talk to the principal... He or she should help you." Eddie said, holding my arm and resting his head on my shoulder.
"I talked to him, but it feels like he doesn't give a f-"
"Michael... Language." I said, interrupting him.
"... it feels like he doesn't even care about his own school."
"Well..." Eddie said. "Then you need to be in a new school."
Michael smiled and hugged us.
"When will we return home?"
"Probably tomorrow." Eddie said. "Your dad will be here with you today... Okay?"
"Of course!" Michael said, smiling.
"Okay, bye! Love you, Mike!" Eddie said, kissing Mike's forehead "Bye, honey." He said, kissing me.
"Bye, Daddy."
"Bye, honey... Love you."
