It has been two years since Richie and Eddie started dating, two years since their "official first kiss" in the Ball... Two years... Time flies, and very fast.

A cold, snowy night in Derry, Eddie was sleeping at Tozier's house, more specifically, on Richie's bed, with Richie. Everything seemed calm, peaceful, Richie was wrapping Eddie around his arms, and the Kaspbrak boy was using Richie's chest as a pillow.

But something wasn't right. "How?" You may ask.

Eddie was babbling a few words, his voice was trembling.

"... richie... no... lose you... no... the clown... the clown."

Suddenly, the bedroom slowly turns into a sewer, and Eddie's eyes are opened, and they're looking at someone... Richie. He looks panicked, but at the same time, determined.

"I gotta do this, Eds."

Before Richie could turn away and go, Eddie grabbed him, and hugged him tightly, crying.

"I don't wanna lose you..." He said, with a tone of softness and hoarseness.

"I know, love... But he chose me... I can't do nothin'..."

"There's gotta be a way, please... for us."

Richie took a deep breath, and kissed Eddie. "I love you, my Eddie Spaghetti... I'll always do." And he started running.

"R-RICHIE!" Eddie screamed, more tears streaming down his face. "No... no..."

As Richie went running, a giant hand emerged from the wet floor, a monstrous hand, wearing a torn white glove.

It. It was it. The clown.

And IT grabbed Richie, who with the last strength of his body, screamed "RUN, MY LOVE, RUN!"

The hand squeezed Richie's body like a tomato, and submerged on the floor again, with Richie's corpse.

Then, the sewers, became the bedroom again, and Eddie got up, startled, sweating, panting. He patted on the bed, searching for the inhaler, and then, patted on Richie's nightstand, nothing...

He started panicking, thinking that that scene was real, and Richie was no longer alive, he fell off the bed, crying, sweating, and traumatised.

"Eddie?" A familiar voice was heard.

Then the curly haired boy face showed up, putting on his glasses, and then, seeing the figure of his beloved one on the floor, trembling.

"Oh my god, what happened?"

"T-t-the clown... It... It... I-it killed you... I saw..."

Richie got closer to him, kneeling down, and stroking his soft brown hair.

"Hey... It was just a bad dream honey, here, take you inhaler." He said, opening the nightstand drawer, grabbing it and hanging it to Eddie.

Eddie breathed on it, feeling calmer. He started breathing slower.

"The clown chose you... And when you got away from me, it grabbed you and squeezed you... Like if you were n-nothing."

"Aww... I'm here, honey..." He said, kissing Eddie's forehead, and helping getting him up.

Eddie lay on the bed again, and Richie remained standing. "Well, I think I'll get some water for you, is that okay?"

"I'm not so sure... That nightmare... It was so real... I-"

"Okay, honey... I'll lay down with you..." He said, laying on the bed, and wrapped Eddie around his arms, just like they were before Eddie woke up.

Richie took off his glasses and put them in the drawer, while Eddie looked at the sky from the bedroom's window. The moon was very bright, and larger than the other nights.

"The moon looks beautiful." He muttered

"Not as beautiful as you." Richie whispered, making Eddie blush and smile.

Something in that nightmare seemed like it wanted to warn them something, something that could happen, or that certainly would happen.

Maybe it could be only a bad dream.

Or maybe... It was a prophesy.
