Days later It got destroyed.

Lena's POV

I woke up because I could hear some screams coming from daddy's bedroom, I looked at Timmy's bed and saw him awake, but his head was on the pillow and he was looking at the ceiling, tears were running down his face.

"T-timmy?" I said.

He looked at me, startled, and wiped away the tears, he got up, so that he was now sitting on the bed.

"Timmy... w-why are yuh-you c-c-crying?"

I got up from my bed and got closer to him, I grabbed his hand and sat next to him.

"Daddy won't stop screaming... I'm scared, Lena..." he cooed.

"Aww... come here..." I said, placing my hand on his head and laying it on my shoulder as I started stroking his hair. "Shhh... it's okay... i-it's okay..."

N-no, it's not." He sobbed. "Daddy Richie and daddy Eddie left and only Daddy Richie arrived, and since he got home he screams when he sleeps... I'm scared, Lena, I don't want my daddy sad."

I bit my lips, and swallowed my tears and looked at him. "S-s-stay here... I'll- I'll talk to h-him..."

"Are you sure?" He said and I nodded in response.

I got out of our bedroom, closed the door gently and made my way to daddy's bedroom, I slowly opened his door and got inside.

He was there, sleeping, but he couldn't stop moving and trembling. When I got closer enough, I could hear him mumbling "the turtle... the turtle... the turtle couldn't help..."

I gulped and reached my hand to him, I slowly shook him and suddenly he opened his eyes and got up, breathing heavily.

"Daddy?" I cooed, and he looked at me.

"Oh hey sweetheart, is everything okay, d-did you have a nightmare?"

I shook my head negatively.

"You were screaming, daddy..."

Richie's POV

Another nightmare. Another day without him.

And here was I, with my kid, she just woke me up because she couldn't stand this anymore.

"Daddy... what h-happened?"

I bit my lips, and swallowed the tears, but then I gave up and let them stream down my face as I sobbed.

"Daddy..." she whined and then climbed to my bed. "Wuh-w-what's wrooong?"

I hugged her and let it all out of my sobs. "I'm so sorry, kids... I'm so sorry... I'm so sorry..." I kept mumbling.

She sniffed and hugged me back. "It's okay, dad..."

"It's not... I woke you up, and this is all my fault... he's not here..." I cooed.

"Daddy?" Timmy said, standing on the doorway.

"Timmy, sweetie... come here" I said, reaching out my hand to him.

He eyed me quizzically and came closer to me. Now both Lena and Timmy were on my lap, Lena was still hugging me and Timmy rested his head on my chest.

"Timmy, Lena... I need you to do something for me, okay?"

"What is it?" Timmy said.

"I need you..." I sniffed. "To be strong..." I chuckled mournfully and continued. "As if you weren't."

"W-w-we will buh-be, daddy." Lena said, wiping her tears off.

"Yeah." Timmy added. "Like... like daddy Eddie."

I gulped and hugged them tighter. "Yeah... like daddy Eddie..."

My kids.

My daughter and my son, the Losers... they were my family now.

But I don't know if I will overcome this... I don't know if I'll take it any longer without him.

But I have to.

For them.

For me.

For him.

"Daddy?" Timmy cooed. "Can we have some hot cocoa?"

I looked at him and saw him looking back at me... with his innocent gaze. He didn't understand what was happening, what had happened. Lena had in mind, but I don't know if she totally does actually.

"Please?" He whined.

I glanced at Lena. She gave me a mournful smile and shrugged.

"Okay." I said, ruffling their hair. "Come on."

I got up, put them down and headed to the door.

"Daddy?" Lena said.

I turned to her, she walked slowly by my side and grabbed my hand. "I love you."

Timmy walked next to me and grabbed my other hand. "I love you too, daddy."

I gulped and smiled weakly. What was I thinking about? They're already strong, I love them. My children.

"I love you too, kids... I love you tons."

Timmy and Lena smiled.

"Now come on..." I said. "Your daddy-..." I took a deep breath and continued "Let's drink some hot cocoa and go to sleep."

As I walked towards the kitchen, I saw a picture on the wall, a picture of our family. But the strange fact is... I never saw it there.

I frowned and gulped as I approached the picture. We were standing on the front door, smiling, but Eddie... oh Eddie... on his head I could see an angel halo.

I smiled mournfully.

"I promise, honey." I mumbled. "You can rest now, we will be fine... but don't stoop looking for us from up there... okay?"

Eddie nodded in the picture and smiled. And then a note appeared on the inferior corner.

"I love you xoxo"

It was his handwriting.

I gulped and smiled as I ran my hand on the picture.

"Dad?" Lena said from the kitchen. "Is... e-everything okay?"

I snapped back to reality and looked at her.

"Yeah..." I mumbled and turned back to the picture.

"It's okay..."
