(just imagine Barb doing the same thing as Tony Stark in this scene, but instead of an alcoholic drink, she's drinking water.)

Richie's POV

After Pennywise stunned me, everything went black, all I could hear was Eddie screaming.

Then I woke up, but in a very dark place, but it wasn't the sewers, it was a cafeteria.

It smelled really bad, it looked like an abandoned school.

I got up and started looking at the weird place.

"Where the hell am I?"

"Upside Down" a girl said, pouring a glass of water.

"Up- what?"

"Upside. Down." She said, realizing my dumb face. "Meh... Ya know, Dungeons and Dragons, dark place, parallel world, but you can feel the person's "presence"?"

"What?"

"Whatever... It's a dark place, somehow named Upside Down." She said, drinking the water. "Do you want some?"

"No, thanks... And who are you?"

"Barb..." She said. "I've been here for a loooong time. Don't worry, you get used to it... the smell, the feeling of loneliness... "

"How did you end up here?"

"I don't know, I was just sitting on a trampoline when a huge thing caught me and "killed" me. And you?"

"A clown... Stunned me..."

"A clown?"

"Yeah..." I said. "Are you... Real?"

"Actually I am... But... I'm dead. I'm in your head, you're unconscious."

"Oh... My condolences..."

"Thanks, Richie"

"Wait, why do you know my name?"

She just smiled and disappeared.

"Barb?!"

Then, a monster came to me running... And I woke up, breathing relieved. It was a... Dream? Or a nightmare?

I was in a hospital now, Eddie was by my side.

"Hey..."

"H-hey..." I stuttered, breathing heavily.

"Nightmare?"

"I don't... know" I said.

He grinned and said "I'm glad you're back..."

"So... IT really stunned me?"

He frowned worriedly and said "no..."

Oh my god... So I had a dream inside a dream. Was it an Inception sequel?

This is so confusing, and I already had in my head that this at the hospital was a dream too and I would wake up again with Eddie at my side.

Oh... I just said it...

Yeah, okay... Fine...
