"Eddie, can we talk?" I said, now in a serious tone.
"Y-yes." He muttered.
We both sit down on the bench and Eddie was already looking for the inhaler. Maybe he thought I'd end our relationship.
"Eds..." I said, grabbing his hand. "May I ask you something?"
He nodded.
"Can you tell me what's wrong? You're really in a bad mood, babe."
"Nothing, I'm just sad..."
"Why? Did someone disappoint you? If it's me, please tell."
"No.. it's not like that, I'm just... Tired."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah..."
"Look... I do not know what lights up your mood, but I know you like it." I said, getting up.
"What?"
"Ice cream! C'mon, I'll pay."
"No... thank you..."
"C'mon, Eds, it's your birthday!"
He rolled his eyes and got up. "Okay okay, let's go." he said, smiling.
"Great! And after this, how about catching a movie?"
"We can't just catch a movie, only if it's the movie poster..." Eddie said.
"Ha ha... That was good."
"Thanks... But yes, we should catch a movie later."
We arrived at the ice cream parlor and Eddie sat down while I ordered the ice cream.
"Good afternoon, sir." The clerk said "How an I help you?"
"Good afternoon... Ummm... I'll have two. One of vanilla with strawberry syrup, and another of triple chocolate, that one of chocolate covered with milk chocolate, and with white chocolate syrup."
"Oookay..." He said. "Anything else?"
"Hm... Two waters." I said.
"Fine! Here... Your ice cream and your water."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome! Have a nice day."
"For you too."
I went out and sat on the table where Eddie was.
"Here... It's your favorite!"
"Oh my God!" He said, taking his triple chocolate ice cream. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, Eds. It's your birthday..."
We talked while we took the ice cream, when we finished, we left and left the park.
"So... what movie?"
Eddie looked at the movies that were on display.

He thought about it and began to sing.
"Eenie meenie miney mo..."
"Eds..." I said, rolling my eyes.
"What?" He said, looking at me with his beautiful brown eyes.
I smiled and hugged him.
"I love you... Happy birthday, babyboy."
He smiled and kissed me "I love you too."
