Eddie's POV

I left early from work, so I took the nanny away from the kids earlier and I decided to take care of them myself.

Zack and Cody were twins, but you could tell at least one difference. One was a little bit fatter (laughs)

"Dad!" They said, running to me.

"Hey there, kids!" I said, crouching and hugging them.

"Where is dad Richie?" Cody asked.

"He's still working, sweetie."

"So you left earlier today?" Zack asked, playing with a Spiderman doll.

"Yes, I did. So... what do you want to do?"

"I wanna watch TV!" Zack said, looking at Cody "and you?"

"Cody?" I said, lifting his chin.

"Huh?" He asked.

"What do you want to do?"

"Ummm... I don't know..." Cody said. "Maybe watch TV too..."

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah..."

"Okay... So let's go" I said, getting up "I'll turn on the TV."

I turned on the TV and they sat down on the couch.

"I'm going to change clothes, I'll be back. " I said, ruffling their hair.

"Okay, dad."

I changed my clothes, when I was about to leave the room, Cody was at the doorway.

"Hey, Cody..."

"Dad..."

Cody seemed different, he didn't look happy. He wanted to tell me something.

"What's wrong, son?"

"I-" he said, with tears in his eyes.

"Listen... It's okay if you have feelings for boys, okay?"

"No... It's not that... I..." He said, biting his lip and holding back the tears "I broke your favorite mug..."

"What mug?" I said.

"The red one." He said, wiping the tears off of his eyes.

"Aww..." I said, hugging him as he burst into tears "no problem, sweetie. There are a lot of red mugs in the world."

"But y-you said, you said that one was special."

"No... It's the one with "I love you" written. Richie gave me when we completed 2 years together."

"Oh..."

"Is that all you had to tell me? "

"Yeah..." He said, smiling.

"Okay... Now go back to your brother, I'll be downstairs in a couple of minutes."

~time skip~

The twins were watching cartoons while I was finishing the dinner.

I heard the door opening.

"I'm home!" Richie said.

They ran to Richie hugging him. "Dad!"

"Hi, guys!"

He came over to me and kissed me.

"Left early today?" He asked, pulling me closer.

"Yeah..." I said.

"Oh, you must have taken care of them very well."

"Thanks." I muttered, kissing him.

We spent some time holding each other, when something bad happened.

Hi, My name is cliffhanger!

"What burnt smell is that?" Richie asked, frowning.

"Oh my God! I totally forgot it!" I said, running to the stove. "Oh no!... dang it!"

"Hey..." Richie said, getting closer to me "no problem, honey... (Whispering) we can order a pizza."

"Great idea." I said, kissing him.

We were finishing our pizza, and Richie was at the kitchen, he came back with a frowned face.

"Umm.... Who broke my reddie? (Red mug)"

I looked at Cody and he looked at me, gulping.
