Eiling the mindless ape

There was nothing more strange than witnessing Eiling in one of the cells in the pipeline. Except for him acting completely weird by standing still and doing nothing. He seemed to be mindless which freaked Bibiana out. Which also caused her to have Cisco watch Jade and Rai in the cortex.

"What is wrong with him?" Barry asked. They were all watching the mindless Eiling doing nothing.

"I pulled a bullet out of his shoulder--" Caitlin was cut off. When that had happened, Bibiana made sure to take the kids to the fridge for some pizza rolls.

"Which should hurt like hell," Joe added.

"Speaking from gun wounds, it really does hurt like hell," Bibiana commented, touching her shoulder.

"And it doesn't even seem like he felt it," Caitlin continued. "I did a complete body scan, and otherwise, General Eiling is perfectly healthy."

"So why is he standing there like a robot?" Joe asked.

"A mindless robot," Bibiana commented. It strangely reminded her of a movie. Maybe it was the Avengers movie.

"I just got off the phone with A.R.G.U.S," Cisco said, walking into the pipeline. Maybe Bibiana should've been concerned about the kids but she had a feeling they were watching another movie. "Officially, Eiling is on administrative leave."

"Yeah, my father is filling in until..." Bibiana trailed off and motioned towards the cell. "He returns."

"Unofficially...?" Joe asked.

"I spoke with Diggle's wife, Lyla, and she said Eiling's been missing for the past three months, and A.R.G.U.S. is coving it up for it," Cisco said. Everyone turned to look at Bibiana.

"Three months ago, Kai had called me and informed me of Eiling going missing. He hasn't informed me of what might have happened," Bibiana explained. "That could be A.R.G.U.S. covering it up, I guess."

"Makes sense," Barry said. "Last time I saw the general was when Robbie and I broke Professor Stein out of that military facility. I'm sure they're covering that up too."

"So where has he been since then?" Joe asked. He walked closer to the cell and spoke louder. "General Eiling, why were you trying to rob the gold reserve?"

Eiling stayed motionless and unable to reply.

"Maybe he's in some kind of trance?" Caitlin suggested.

"General?" questioned Barry. "Do you remember me?"

There was a silence before Eiling replied but it wasn't his voice. "Flash."

"Ooh. How does he know you're the Flash?" Joe asked Barry. It confused everyone since Eiling didn't know who their alter egos were.

"General--" Barry was cut off.
