I woke up to the sound of vomiting in the bathroom. Somehow, Dean was still asleep. Once the sound had stopped, I walked over to the door and knocked.

"Sam, are you alright?" I asked worriedly. The toilet flushed in response. The door opened slowly to reveal a definitely hungover Sam. I walked over to the nightstand, where the painkillers and unopened water bottle still stood, and grabbed the stuff I needed. I walked back over to the bathroom to see Sam sitting by the toilet once again.

I held up the items, the water and the painkillers, and braced myself for the smell, seeing as he couldn't get up himself. I walked in, gagging at the rancid smell of vomit, and handed Sam the stuff.

"Thanks," he croaked, throat sore from the acidic vomit that he had been coughing up all morning. He quickly downed three to four pills and half the bottle of water.

"C'mon, you should go lay down," I said soothingly, grabbing his arm and pulling him up. I silently guided him to his bed and tucked him in, just as he had done for me.

"I'm sorry," I admitted,"I didn't know".

"It's alright, I don't even know why I got so angry about it. Lets just forget about it," he replied.

"C'mere," he said, patting the bed next to him. I silently obliged, smiling, and climbed into the bed next to him. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. I looked up at his face to see him staring at me. His cheeks reddened and he looked away.

I smiled and I snuggled into his chest. I started humming some of my favorite songs, and humming turned into soft singing.

(A/N: This is The Only Exception by Paramore)

When I was younger I saw

My daddy cry and curse at the wind

He broke his own heart and I watched

As he tried to reassemble it

And my momma swore that she would Never let herself forget

And that was the day that I promised

I would never sing of love if it does not exist

But darling, you are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

Maybe I know somewhere deep in my soul

That love never lasts

And we've got to find other ways

To make it alone and keep a straight face

And I've always lived like this

Keeping a comfortable distance

And up until now I had sworn to myself

That I'm content with loneliness

Because none if it was ever worth the risk

Well you are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

I've got a tight grip on reality but I can't

Let go of what's in front of me here

I know your leaving in the morning when you wake up

Leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream
