"Green tea, please."

She pursed her lips

As a cup of green tea

Was placed in front of her.

I watched her from behind

And admired her form.

Her hair flowed freely behind

Tumbling in a fountain of waves.

Her leggings clung to her skin

And her boots added an inch

To her petite frame.

She spun around suddenly

As if she knew I were watching

And sent me a wink.

I blushed and looked back

At my green tea

As the heat swirled above it

And evaporated into air.

She sat down across from me,

Studying me closely.

"You're different."

I laughed at her subtleness.

"Is that good or bad?"

She took a sip of her tea

Before brushing a piece of hair away.

She looked different without stained cheeks

But she still smelled like smoke.

"I haven't decided that yet."
