"Aren't you tired?"

She whispered quietly.

After my story

We had remained silent

For minutes

And I thought I had

Done something wrong.

Instead I shook my head.

"Not really."

She stole a glance at the clock.

"It's already 10:53."

"And?"

"And you look tired."

"Well I'm not."

Jessa rolled her eyes

And flipped on the TV.

The screen burst to life

And the bright images

Strained my eyes.

"I love this movie."

She stared at the screen in awe

As I studied the scene.

"The Titanic?"

She nodded silently

"It's so relatable

I mean the girl is forced

To be with someone

Who is absolutely cruel to her

When there's a boy

Who cares about her

Right in front of her."

I sighed heavily

And just as Rose

Let go of Jack

I was hoping to let go

Of my feelings for Jessa

But just as Rose had said

I'll never let go.
