Chapter 21 sleep talking

jane prov.
I woke up with a start and looked at the clock. It was midnight. I felt something around my waste. I turned to the source and found Jeff. Sound asleep, cuddling me like I was his teddy bear. I blushed but snuggled a little closer to him. then i remember what i had to do. I tried to get up but then jeff pulled me closer and mumbled in his sleep
"no... jane don't go."
'was he really awake?'
but he wasn't his eyes were still closed he was just sleep talking.i tryed to move again but he just held me tighter
"jane.. please don't go i need you."
i stopped and felt my cheeks heat up.but he didn't stop there
"i.. need you to be ok... i need you.. to be safe"
i was frozen in his arms, i couldn't stop listening
'he needs me?'
but he wasn't done yet
"jane.. i need you....to be here with me.. I love you"
my eyes widened he was still sound asleep and i know he was just sleep talking. He smiled noticing how I stopped moving. He snuggled his head in my hair.
"You love me?"
He nodded slowly his eyes still closed
"Yep...I just didn't know how to.. tell you."
My cheeks were a bright red and I have no idea how I'm going to sleep tonight.
"Do you... Love me Jane?"
I blushed and thought
'Do I love him? I mean ya I've always felt safer with him. And I haven't been able to get my mind of him since..I can't even remember.i do Iove how his eyes light up when ever he's killing. I love his cut smile, I love his ice blue eyes. I guess I do love him'
"Yes I do."
I smiled and snuggled closer to him, enjoying his warmth. He sighed happily
"Good."
It felt really good being this close to him.even though sadly I knew that he wouldn't remember this. He'll think that this was just a dream. I closed my eyes an fell into a peace fully sleep.
