chapter 25 moon beams

Jane’s prov

I watched with wide eyes as shadow disappeared into thin air.

“I forgive you.”

I climbed down the tree with my sack on my back. I looked around; the moons still high in the sky and the trees all seem to have this dark look to them. I realized I have no idea where I am; but some how I’m not scared.

I smiled, lied down on the soft grass and watched the stars. I knew that I had to get back to Jeff but right now I’m too sleepy to move.  I felt my eyes get heavy I closed them. Knowing that when I wake the first thing I see will be Jeff. Since no doubt he’s trying to find me right now.

Jeff’s prov

By the time I stopped running I was in the middle of the forest. I still hadn’t found Jane and I’m pretty that I’ve been searching for hours. I looked up to see the moon high in the sky; yep hours.  I kept walking looking for my black eyed beauty. I walked into a clearing and looked up at the moon. I looked back down to see

“jane?”
There she lieing in the grass, sound asleep. I smiled the moon beams seem to make her glow. I kneed down next to her, and stroked her cheek. She smiled at my touch

“You scared me Jane. Please don’t leave me again.”

She nodded in her sleep

“ok…Jeff”

‘hmm sleep talking are we?’

I smiled and picked her up bridal style. And began walking back to the mansion

“Jane why did you leave?”

“I didn’t want… you to get hurt… but shadows dead… and zaglo isn’t mad any more.”

I raised an eyebrow

“What do you mean?”

“He came to.. me saying how he was gonna… die.. he said he talked to zaglo… to protect us from any pain..”

I snorted

“Besides the pain that he already inflicted”

She nodded

“don’t worry…Jeff he’s dead… and if its you vs zalgo… you’d win.”

I grinned

“no more talking for you jane go back to sleep.”

“jeff do you love me?”

I blushed and looked down at her. I smiled she looks so innocent asleep. Her midnight black hair falling into her face. Her ghostly white skin glowing in the moonlight.

“Ya Jane ya I do"
