Another eventful day had gone and the peace of night had come. It was an exhausting day for Mikubae. Shortly after returning to the Senju Compound, she was forced to do a bunch of different things for the wedding by Mito. The Uzumaki woman was reaching new stress levels. On top all her other mental notes, Mikubae made sure to make one for Mito.

She was going to take her future-sister-in-law out to get herself rejuvenized. A hotsprings sounded nice.

But all personal matters set aside, Mikubae wasn't getting a wink of sleep due to her professional work. With a flickering candle as her source of light, she sat at her table looking over medical reports, remedial ideas given to her by her students, and was creating lesson plans for tomorrow.

Her room had been renovated after she nearly tore it apart. Mikubae hadn't realized how bad she was until she came back for a spare change of clothes. Tears, burns, rips - it looked like a wild animal had lived here instead of her. Thankfully, Hashirama finished renovating it quickly.

Mikubae was content with the way things were going. Her relationship with her siblings was recovering, she was helping the hospital with new healing practices, and was learning how to control her limitless power. The only thing that would be better was if a certain someone would answer questions.

The sudden passing anxiety caused Mikubae to make a mistake in her work. Her shoulders slumped with a long groan.

'If I keep thinking about it, I won't get anything done tonight,' she sighed. She gently ran the pads of her fingers over the flower pin that held strands of hair out of her face. '...Madara"

"Tch. You're still awake shorty?"

Mikubae jumped in her seat. She looked to her window with wide eyes. "M-Madara?!" The male was leaning on her window with a sly smirk. Mikubae felt her heart speed up at the sight of him. It'd only been 4 days since they last saw each other, but it felt like forever. She walked over to the window with a wide smile.
