My cute little Marissa, I swear it took all my effort to stay away from her at the party. I can't always be doing things for her, she was right; she needed to at least get to know people on her own. If I always do it for her, how will she ever do it herself when I'm not there?

But seriously I'm glad I gave into my selfish needs and took her away from Rylee. There was no way in hell I was ever going to let someone else have the first dance with her. She's still my angel and I refuse to let her go. I'll just make sure I keep her happy from now on.

I must have been so caught up with all this that I ended up holding Marissa's hand the whole time during the party but I never let go. Unless Marissa didn't like it I would gladly take her hand in mine. Just her touch is enough to make me smile.

I just loved putting my arm around her waist and pulling her into me. It just felt completely right to hold her against me, as if we fit perfectly well together. This must be what it feels like to fall for someone.

I know I hear this lot, in fact, I read it a lot, how people fall in love and they feel like their heart hurts just being apart from the one they love. What I feel is completely different.

God, this girl brings a smile to my face, when I'm apart from her I just look forward to when I get to see her again, the fact that I'll get to be around her. Make her smile or even annoy her a bit. No matter what side I see of her it just makes me want to hold her. I feel like I have this habit of holding her against me. She's like a little kitten I want to adore forever.

I couldn't help but chuckle to myself when I realized that Marissa had thought we'd go to the outdoor spring in swimsuits. Her face was so cute with her cheeks all pink and reddened.

I wanted to play along with it just to have fun but I know Marissa was insecure about public bath or at least her being in a vulnerable situation like that. I ended up with giving her comforting words; well I hope they were comforting.

It took so much in me not to play with her when she was lingering in the changing area, where we could leave our clothes and go straight into the shower room that was right next door to the outdoor spring.

At this time I was in the water, deep up to my shoulders as it just covered up my breasts. It was so relaxing lying back against the soft rocks that made the rather good looking interior.

Cindy was sitting next to Rachel, they were opposite of where I laid. Sarah was mostly dazing off a bit far off on my right and Alice had been half sitting half lying on a rock that wasn't too far from where Sarah was. All in all, it seemed that everyone was completely relaxed.

I looked at the direction where Marissa still hadn't come out from and noticed that I could no longer hear the shower running. I chuckled, thinking of how she must be panicking on how to get inside without being seen.

"Ash quit teasing her, just tell her to get in, we're not looking. You know she's probably panicking in there." Rachel sighed.

"I didn't do anything." I was trying to keep the grin off my face. Honestly, I haven't done anything yet, not that I will.

This time it was Cindy who raised her brow at me questioningly. I rolled my eyes at her and sighed.

"She's so cute though when she's like that..." I whispered mostly to myself but I'm sure they heard me anyway.

"Marissa, you can come out now. We have our eyes closed I promise." I closed my eyes and for more effect used my hands to cover them too.

I slowly heard the thin Asian styled door slide open and after a few seconds could hear the soft padding of feet being crossed. I still had my eyes covered as I heard Marissa entering the water and felt the water swerve slowly in my direction.

"Can I open my eyes now?" Rachel asked.

I took this opportunity to peek an eye open to see Rachel as well as Cindy with their eyes closed but a smile on their faces, mostly caused by our cute little Marissa.

I probably shouldn't have but I looked towards my left where I saw Marissa with her beautiful hair held up in a messy wet bun and she was deep in the water as it rose up to her chin.

She looked so cute with her arms held up against her chest and her cheeks flamed.

I chuckled and called her over.

"Come on you can sit next to me. They put seating designs here, you won't have to stand."

She shook her head like a cute little child and that set off Cindy and Rachel who tried to keep their chuckles to their selves. By now everyone had their eyes open and Alice was covering her mouth probably trying to stop any laughter from coming out. Sarah had giggled silently but moved over to where Alice was.

"It's either that or I'll have to come and get you." I couldn't help but give her a small smirk; gosh this girl is too adorable.

Marissa rolled her eyes but slowly started moving towards the seat next to me.

She was still a few feet away from most likely deciding whether she should sit or not. I smiled at that. In the end, she sat on my left side but a few seats away from me.

I moved closer to her until we had our shoulders touching.

"It's relaxing here, isn't it?" I smiled at her.

"Yeah... I guess it is." The sigh that came out of her was pleasant. She seemed to relax more with her eyes closed. I found it especially cute how there was a slight tint of pink visible.
