Prompt 60: "I never imagined myself in a wedding dress" for _Niami I hope you will like it!

It's November in Mauritius.
Your eyes are closed and you are listening to the sound of the waves.
It isn't your first time in Mauritius, but from time to time you love the island a little bit more.
Especially after today, because you will marry the love of your life on this wonderful island.

The door to your room is getting opened of your mother-in-law Chantal. Your best friends and, at the same time, bridesmaids of honour are following her. It's time to get dressed.

"Are you ready?", your best friend Y/F/N is asking you. You are nodding and watch yourself and your friend in the mirror. You are taking a deep breath in and your friend is closing the dress at the back. The dress may is simply, but you never felt so beautiful.

Y/F/N pauses her movements. Tears falling down her cheeks.
You are hugging your friend tightly. You are so thankful to have her. She was and will be always on your side. She was the first one, who had known that your relationship to Pascal is different. That this is true love. A love, which will never end. She was the one, who told you that you should give him a chance. She was the one, who helped you threw the hard times. The times, Pascal wasn't able to help you. She was the one, who was planning, together with Pascal, the proposal.

You are fighting against your own tears, but it's not a real fight, you lose it anyway.
"Y/N, you are so beautiful. Pascal can be lucky to have you on his side."
You smile. She is right. You are beautiful. You look back at your reflection. Your hands are gliding down the white material.

"I never imagined myself in a wedding dress..." Tears are still falling down your face. Tears full of joy.
"You can't imagine yourself in a wedding dress until you are in a wedding dress," Chantal is saying with a small smile.
"I remember my own wedding like it was yesterday. I felt the same way. I was nervous but I was also excited to spend the rest of my life together with Richard. My mother gave me this necklace," Chantals hand is touching the little diamond around her neck.

"And I think it's time that another person is wearing the necklace.
Y/N it would be a honour if you wear the necklace today."
Chantal is taking off the necklace and put it around your neck. The stone feels cold on your tanned skin.
"Welcome in the family, Y/N"
"Thank you. I can't wait to say, that you are my mother in law. I love you."
"I love you, too."
Chantal gives you a kiss on your cheek.
"I have to go now. I have to visit my son..."
"Say to him, that I can't wait to see him again"
"I will"

After a few minutes your dad walks into the room.
He hadn't seen you in the wedding dress until now.
"My little girl is a grown-up woman, now. I am so proud of you, Y/N, but you are still my little princess and you will ever be. Never forget that."
"Thank you, dad"
Your dad was never speaking a lot and those sentences are the highest of emotions, he had ever shown.
"Come on, let's go to Pascal"

Your wedding yesterday was the most beautiful moment of your life.
You and Pascal are still laying in bed, as he takes his mobile phone from the bedside table. Pascal opens his Instagram and posting a new picture.
