Daniel's POV:

It's been about a week since I left Amberle in Paris and I can tell you that things have not been the same. The house itself is missing its vibrancy and the enthusiasm that Amberle once brought. I'm not saying that the house has a depressing drift but you can tell that everyone here misses her.

"Hey Zach" I stated as I saw him sitting at a bar stool in our kitchen.

"Hey" he replied, focused on his coffee.

"Are you heading back to the hospital?" I asked.

"Yeah, Penelope is supposed to be discharged today...the doctor thought it would be wise to bring her back to a place full of memories" Zach stated.

"How is she holding up?"

"Fine, it's just she thinks Jonah is her bf and I can't say anything about it"

"That sounds rough...but don't worry she'll come around"

"I hope so"

I have Zach a pat on the back before I grabbed a Gatorade and went back upstairs. Today was sort of a rest day...we've had many shows recently and we needed to rest our voices. Normally, I would of taken Amberle out but she wasn't here so I decided to just chill in my room. I was just watching TV when my phone went off...I casually walked over to my nightstand and picked up the FaceTime.

"Hey Boo...did you miss me?" a lovely girl with brown hair stated.

"Amberle! I missed you" I stated as I set my phone down in a spot where she could see me.

She giggled which made my heart flutter...geez, she's so cute.

"How have you been?" she asked enthusiastically.

"Crappy since you're not here" I replied knowing that would make her blush.

"Awwww, I miss you too" she stated.

"Where are you?" I asked noticing that she wasn't in her hotel room.

"In my trailer on set...it's pretty small but cozy" she said looking around.

"I see you're wearing the necklace I gave you" I said as I smirked.

"Of course, I never take it off...with the exception of a shower"

I faked gasped, "how could you? I feel betrayed" I said sarcastically.

"Oh shut up you big baby" she said as we both started laughing.

"You look cute" I said noticing her off-the-shoulder top.

"Thanks" she said as she stood up and twirled around.

It was a white lacy off-the-shoulder crop top with blue high-waisted jeans. I cringed at myself and blamed my sister for knowing too much about fashion. It was cute but it showed wayyyy more skin than I would of liked her to but whatever makes her happy.

"Oh! I forgot to ask you! Are you still coming next Monday?" she asked as she sat back down.

Crap, I forgot that I was going to visit her, our manager booked us a show in NYC that day. Darn...

"Unfortunately no, I know I told you that I was coming but I forgot I had a show booked that day" I forced out as I saw disappointment cross over her face.

She quickly tried to hide her disappointment, "Where are you guys playing?" she asked.

"Madison Square Garden" I stated with excitement. No matter how many times we play there, I still can't get over the huge rush of adrenaline I get whenever we play there.

"Again?!? That's amazing!" she said with fake enthusiasm. I knew she would rather have me in Paris but she's not selfish enough to admit it.

"Yeah our fans our crazy...they sold out the stadium in less than a day" I replied. "How's the movie coming along?".

"We just started shooting because all week we've been running tests and what not" she said as she rolled her eyes.

"That's so cool, I'm proud of you" I replied.

"I'm proud of you too! I mean look at you...so many fans in such short time. You've come a really long way and I'm so happy that I'm apart of your journey" she stated I blushed. God, I really want to kiss her right now...

The moment soon died as soon as Shawn Mendes walked into her trailer. Wait...what's he doing there?

They did a weird handshake before she stated, "Daniel, I'm sure you know Shawn...he's playing Nathan".

She purposely neglected to mention that he's her love interest...I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.

"Hey man! Love your music" Shawn stated.

"Right back at you" I stated.

Shawn tapped Amberle on the shoulder before he stated, "they need us on set 1".

"Oh of course, I'll meet you there" she replied barely above a whisper.

Shawn waved before he left her trailer...

"I'm sorry, I have to go" she said with a sad face.

"It's fine, I understand" I stated.

"Bye babe...I love you" she stated as she blew me a kiss.

"Love you too" I replied before she waved and hung up.

I sat there staring at my phone wishing that she would call me back. I missed her so much...geez I sound head over heels for her. And maybe I was, what's so wrong with that?

I decided that I didn't want to be in this room where we spent our last fight so I went outside. I sat in one of the pool chairs as I realized that Penelope and Zach were out here too, she seemed a little frustrated. I guess Zach and Penelope got back from the hospital. Oh Zach...what are you getting yourself into? I thought to myself as I saw Penelope throw her arms up in anger.

"Zach just leave me alone okay!" she yelled.

"Penelope I know you remember me...I know you remember something" Zach stated.

She rolled her eyes, "if I did do you think I would be sitting here yelling at you!?".

For some reason that hit Zach really hard...he sat in silence for a minute. "Look, even if you don't remember me right now, I know you will eventually and I'll wait for you...as long as it takes"

She just grunted and Zach decided to sit in the grass while Penelope turned her back against him.

Okay this is a little too much drama for me...so I went inside. I looked around for anything to do...and nothing. I rolled my eyes before I looked to my right to see my cello, I guess I could play a little right now...

If only I knew that "a little" meant I would be sitting here practicing for the next few days.
