After they have changed , Levi and (Y/n) placed their clothes in the table and went in the waterfall to not waste any time. They went down stairs that were made of stone , and luckily they were not that slippery. As they first stepped on the ground, there weren't any rocks or anything that felt weird, it was all soft sand. The water was crystal clear so it wasn't difficult for them to see where they were stepping. It was cold to the touch , which sent chills to (Y/n') spine.
"Wooph." She shivered.
"I thought the cold never bothered you anyway?" Levi smirked.
"It doesn't - i was just making dog sounds. Woof woof." (Y/n) explained, swooshing the water around. Levi gave a hum.
Since the water wasn't that deep, (Y/n) attempted to sit at the bottom. The water just reached her chest area.
"Woooof!" She splurted out.
"Are you still sure you're not cold?" Levi asked, as he casually sat down beside her. She pouted.
"Fuck it!" She shouted as she suddenly submerged herself underwater, so she could be immuned to the cold. Levi raised his brows, since he wasn't used to (Y/n) saying such words. Instead of that typical hair flip, she slowly lifted her head whilst her hair was on her face. She turned to Levi, in a creepy manner.
"Levi~" She whispered in a deep voice, as she slowly crawled on Levi. He only remained still , but when her face was close enough, he pushed her hair out of the way. She puffed her cheeks when he does. Nonetheless , he smiled and pecked her cheek. (Y/n) didn't expect that. Levi wasn't the type of person to do those things, not to mention smile. She was shook. At a loss of words , all she could do was stare into his eyes.
She loved this man. She loved every bit of his existence. He wasn't the prince charming she dreamed of as a child, he was stoic , he was mean. She noticed those little intricate lines under his lashes, she loved his dark hair , and his eyes. Oh, his eyes. The way they spoke to her. Steel grey eyes , others would describe. But to her , it was much more than just that simple description. His eyes told her different stories, some of which were unpredictable. Whatever he's seen or whatever he has gone through, (Y/n) could see through it. The pain of losing someone you love. The pain of living with the fact that they're gone, and you'll never get to see them again. They both went through that.
But knowing they had each other, was enough. (Y/n) never thought there would be someone out there. Hell , she never thought she was capable of loving again. Though the thought of Levi leaving her too was at the back of her head. She lost her parents, her sister, she couldn't possibly bear losing Levi too. It would lead her to the end of it all. (Y/n) loved Levi so much , more than he will ever know.
"Tch. Why are you staring at me like that? It's creepier than the last one." Levi spoke, cutting (Y/n) off her thoughts. She was on the verge of tears , surprisingly. She quickly rubbed her eyes before the first tear could fall. 'Shh. Calm your shit. It's too early for those moments.' She thought. Levi had a worried expression on his face. (Y/n) splashed some water on him.
"What the hell was that for?" He asked , wiping the droplets off his face.
"Stop doing unexpected things like that. It makes me fall in lov- no , no , too cheesy. I just - I just - you know.. I ..I just realized.. that you are one of the most important people of my life... without you I'd probably be a goner. So, thanks , you gnome." (Y/n) rambled , her heart beating fast and her cheeks tinted lightly with pink. "That sounded awkward."
Levi was struck. He didn't know until now how much he needed to hear those words. He needed to keep his cool , so he casually splashed a big amount of water on (Y/n)'s face. Some of the water got in (Y/n)'s mouth so she quickly spit it out, and tried to clear her vision , as the droplets of water stayed on her lashes.
"I love you too." Levi whispered underneath his breath.
"Did you say something?" (Y/n) said as she tried to get the water out of her ear. Levi shaked his head. "Anyways , we should get started on the pictures, we shouldn't waste anymore time." She added , standing up.
Levi couldn't help but feel contented. He couldn't help but feel... happy.
Levi Ackerman was happy.
I'm sorry this chapter sucked. Lol i'm so unproductive. After i finish writing one sentence i close wattpad and distract myself with youtube or pinterest lmao. I'm trying so hard to keep this going but i literally have no ideas for this part. Please tell me wether you prefer fluff or funny, or some other sht. I'm trying to make this sort of a different x reader style. I want this to be like an actual book, but its just you and Levi and the squad. :)
I'm sorry this was short. School work has been a really big boulder on my shoulders and i sacrificed a few assignments just to make this lil chapter lol.
