"Hey Lucy come on!" Nic yelled at me from the other side of the golden beach. I ran over to him and leaped into his arms. "Woah! You nearly took me out!"
I laughed with him, "Sorry. Can we go get ice cream?" I asked, puppy eyes evident.
"Of course, Beautiful." I smiled at the nickname while he carried me to the ice cream window. He ordered himself a vanilla and a mint choc chip for me then handed them over. We travelled to seats where Nic placed me on the table so I gave him his cone. Immediately, he sank his teeth into the frozen treat. I shuddered at the thought of ever doing something so disgraceful. "Sorry, babe."
"Don't worry." I smiled then licked mine. "I love you."
"I love you too." He leaned up and kissed me gently.
