I woke up the next morning to a knock on my bedroom door. 

"Rosie? Can I come in?" My Aunt-to-be asked 

I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes before looking over at my clock

6:00 am 

An hour and a half before I have to leave for school. 

"Come in!" I yelled 

She walked in before sitting on the end of my bed and biting her lip nervously. 

"What happened?" I asked cautiously

"Uh...What makes you think something happened?" 

I raised an eyebrow "You come knocking on my door at 6 in the morning and look like someone ran over your kitten. On top of that, you should have already left for work"  

 "About that..." She laughed nervously  "I might need to borrow your car for the week" 

"What?!" I exclaimed "What happened to yours?" 

"Okay, so yesterday on the freeway, I ran over something but I didn't think about it because no emergency light came on so, when I went out to my car this morning, I must have ran over glass or something sharp because all four of my tires are flat" 

I cringed, knowing how an awful driver she was. Every time we go somewhere as a family, my Uncle or I insist we drive because she drives like a maniac. We love her but every time she drives I always throw up and my Uncle complains about dizziness for hours. 

"Where's Uncle Liam?" 

"He went into work early this morning and has meetings all over town. I tried to call him but he won't answer" 

"Okay, let me call Garrett and see if he could pick me up" 

As soon as the words were out of my mouth, I slapped my forehead. 

"What? What's wrong?" 

"Garrett won't be in today. Something about Chemistry club taking a field trip to a lab, three hours away from here" 

"When does he leave?" 

"He already left" I checked my clock "Fifteen minutes ago"

"How about..." she trailed off as the doorbell rang.
