XIII • Snow

"After Earth"

Blood slowly dripping from my uniform, my eyes heavy. My knees weak. My breath.. bated. I tried walking towords a hotspot, but I was in a middle of a forest. How could I find a warm place to sleep until this cold stops.

My body gave up, but my brain didn't. I collapsed on the ground, everything turned into cold quickly. I shivered uncontrollably. My body was covered in snow. Soon my eyes closed. I fell asleep, or I was probably dead.

Soon I felt a strong figure lift me up and walked somewhere, I felt warmed suddenly, I halfway opened my eyes.. All I could see is a door close. I could finally sleep.

My eyes slowly opened. I slowly groaned, I didn't feel cold. I quickly sat up looking around my surroundings. It looked like a little cabin. I got up and walked out the door. I peeked around. I saw a tall figure on my right.

I took my blade, and slowly walked towards him. I tapped him on his back.

The man quickly turned around and looked at me. I pointed my blade towards his face.

"Who are you?" I asked boringly.

The kept looking at me with no expression. I got furious but kept my calm.

"Who are you?!" I yelled softly.

"Snow." He responded.

I scoffed at his attitude and raised my blade a little higher.

"Stop playing" I said.

"I'm not." he responded. "Who are you?" he asked.

"I'm Dirt." I said sarcastically.

"I could tell." he responded. I looked at him and sighed.

"I'm (Name), a ranger in United Corps. I came from Iphitos." I said. "I was sent because of a alien being released her." I added.

"I'm Snow." he said again.

I nodded and looked at him. He didn't look that bad.

"So you have any.. Food?" I asked as my stomach groaned. He nodded.

I smiled slightly.

Both of us were sitting down at a table.

"So how did you get here.. Or what are you doing here?" I asked. "You should know that Earth isn't fit for human habitat anymore." I added.

"I didn't want to repeat same things." he said.

I looked at him and nodded. "I understand." I said softly.

He looked at me deeply, like his eyes are screaming at me for something.

I walked and walked, Snow following me.

"Hey, What's that thing you have on your leg?" He asked.

"Um.. It's a piece of fabric, it's some sort of smart fabric." I said "I has motion sensors." I added.

"It's senses what?" He asked.

"Bad things, for example the Ursa." I said.

"Makes sense." he said. I nodded in response.

I dug my blade towards the rocks trying to climb.

"You doing okay?" Snow asked.

"Just like heaven." I said sarcastically.

He laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Did you defeat the Ursa?" Asked my father.

"Took out like a bat out of hell." I said.

"Congratulations, you are free to go." I exclaimed in excitement.

So excited that I hugged Snow and kissed him. We both shared a long passion kiss.

I smiled.

"I love you" he said.

"I like you too." I tease.
