"Because of her you won't have a future, Winny," Rosalie protested, pacing Winny and Bella's shared bedroom as the latter occupant was out with Rosalie's brother, pushing Charlie's curfew. "What about babies? I've made peace with the fact that I'll never have children, or grandchildren to spoil in my old age, but you had that. You could have had that until Bella stole it away from you by jumping off that stupid cliff, then following my stupid brother to Italy with you in tow."
Winny caught ahold of Rosalie's hand as the blonde girl passed too close to her bed, and pulled Rosalie to sit down beside her.
"Yeah, it sucks that I won't ever get old but I've been thinking about it Rose. Last year in Anatomy class, remember when Mr. Banner talked about surrogate parents? Like women could have their eggs taken out and fertilized, then put it another woman to have their baby? What if I took the eggs out before I got turned, and had them frozen so I could go back later?"
Rosalie suddenly went still and her eyes went wide. For the first time since she had stalked into Winny's room Rosalie didn't look completely murderous.
