Chapter 13; Meet up

"Mitch when are you and Auston leaving?" Stacy asked Mitch who was relaxing on her couch.

"A couple minutes just let me relax" Mitch said closing his eyes.

"Okay we have to plan this vacation for the offseason" Steph spoke entering the living room.

"Now? Steph it's still December" Stacy knows that Steph is one of those people who plan way ahead.

"Okay so I have two places planned out" Steph laid out two brochures.

"Cancun, Mexico or Punta Cana, Dominican Republic" Steph said as Mitch and Stacy looked at the brochures.

Suddenly Stacy's phone buzzed, she took it out to look at the message.

From: Unknown number

Hi is this Stacy?

To: Unknown number

Yeah?? Who is this?"

From: Unknown number

It's William

"How did he get my number?!" Stacy said out loud.

"Who?" Mitch asked.

"Will!! He just texted me!" Stacy looked at the both of them. She looked right at Steph and knew immediately she had something to do with it.

"Steph" Stacy looked at her as Steph just looked around the room.

Stacy's phone buzzed again.

From: Will

Do you want to meet up??

"He wants to meet up, what do I do?" Stacy asked the couple.

"Say yes!" Mitch said.

"What!! No!" Stacy said back to Mitch "Are you crazy?!"

"Then say no" Mitch said.

"But I want to see him" Stacy mumbled.

This was a hard decision Stacy had to make.

William sat at a table waiting for Stacy to come.

He really wanted to see her, he needed to apologize.

"Hey" Will looked up to see Stacy.

"Gosh she is beautiful" William thought to himself as Stacy took a seat across from him.

"Make it quick, I have to go shopping with Steph soon" Stacy said.

"You look great" William complimented Stacy as she just blushed a little.

"You don't look bad yourself Nylander" Stacy said back making William blush this time.

There was an awkward silence for a moment.

The two of them didn't know what to do.

Stacy's phone buzzed, she look down and saw a text message from Steph.

"It's Steph, she's waiting outside the car for me" Stacy said getting up "I'm so sorry this was short but it was nice to see you"

Stacy began to make her way out the restaurant.

"Wait!" Will said as Stacy turned around.

He just looked at her cute face, it took a while for him to say a word.

"I'm sorry" Will managed to get out.

"I know Willy, I know" Stacy gave him a sad smile as she left the restaurant.

Will sat back down and just put his head on the table.

He thought that this would be the last time he would see her.

Little did he know that the two would meet again later that week.
