Thomas laughed as Rose held onto his daughter. He wanted to spend time with his daughter one last night. Thomas was sent to fight in the Great War, and wasn't sure if he'll see his wife or daughter again.

"Okay Rosie, daddy's gotta get sleep." Thomas said putting his daughter to bed.

"Aww." Rose pouted. Thomas chuckled and ruffled his daughter's hair. "Could you at least read my a bedtime story?"

Thomas thought about it and smiled. He had an idea. "Or, how about a lullaby?" He asked. Rose squealed and bounced up and down. Thomas chuckled went to grab an old guitar and strum the cords, and started to sing.

Remember me
Though I have to say goodbye
Remember me

Rose smiled hearing her father sing. The young child never heard her father sing anything to her, except her mother.

Don't let it make you cry
For ever if I'm far away
I hold you in my heart
I sing a secret song to you
Each night we are apart

Remember me
Though I have to travel far

Rose sang along with her father, making him smile as he continued,

Remember me
Each time you hear a sad guitar
Know that I'm with you
The only way that I can be
Until you're in my arms again

Rose and Thomas looked at each other and sang at the same time,

Remember me

"I love you daddy." Rose whispered giving her father a hug.

"I love you too Rose. I will always remember you." Thomas whispered back.

"And I will remember you, daddy."
