"Are you speedy?" You ask and as soon as the words leave your lips it become painfully obvious that she is,"Oh god you are, Oliver's been calling you Speedy since we were kids, i should've caught on sooner."
You face palmed pacing back in forth in front of your girlfriend, who just avoided your gaze.
"Oh my god," your voice lowers to a hushed whisper, "Does that mean Oliver is the Arrow?"
Her eyes widened panicked and she tries to cover it up but it's too late you've seen it.
"No, I've never met the Arrow, whenever i'm around him he has his mask on," the lie is see-through and you know that.
"don't lie to me... not any more" you cross your arms over you chest and watch as she sighs.
"Yes."
"Yes what?"
"I'm Speedy and Oliver is the Arrow," you knew it was true but it hurt even more when she admitted it.
"Neither of you trusted to tell me?" you ask, feeling hurt that your best friend and girlfriend would keep such a secret from you.
"We we're trying to protect yo-"
"Bullshit," you scoff standing from the couch and walking out the door to her apartment not bothering to grab any of your things, as you were too angry.
