{21} SPIDER MAN

You were walking home late from the grocery store when you had gotten an uneasy feeling. You had gotten a text from your mom telling you to pick up a couple of things from the store, groaning you texted an "ok" and had picked up some items for the apartment. Which brings us back the empty, dark, cold streets of Queens, New York. And also brings back the feeling, the feeling of being watched.

You quicken your pace as the fear started to grow in the pit of your stomach. Adding onto the fear already building up, you heard footsteps behind you. And then another pair of footsteps. And then another. Now multiple footsteps were behind you. You didn't bother to look back and just kept walking at your fast pace. A deep mumbling could be heard from behind it seemed to be about a couple of men. You took a turn down the street but was cut off by running into one of them. The man had grabbed your arm roughly and threw you to the hard brick wall. Another man had came and took the two bags you had and tossed them aside. You didn't know what they wanted, you spent all your money on the groceries. "Please I don't have any money." You begged. "We don't want money." One of them spoke. They want to take something more valuable.

You got up to run away but they caught you and threw you back. The man still had a tight grip on your arm, "please someone help me!" You cried. "Shut up!" The man yelled before slapping you across the face with a smirk. He had pinned you up against the brick wall as the other two had gotten closer. Before the man could reach down a guy in red and blue spandex swooped down from a web. Spider Man.

He shot a web at one of their hand and made him punch himself. He then threw a kick at him which threw him to the wall making him hit head and knocked him out. The other one had came up from behind but Spider Man jumped up and shot webs at his head and slammed him to the floor. The only one left was the one that was on you. "Let her go or you'll end up like them." Spider Man spoke. The man just laughed darkly and pulled out a switch blade. He ran towards Spider Man but he dodged the mans attacked and had webbed him up against the wall.

You just stood there trembling from fear of what would've happened. "Hey, you ok?" Spider Man had spoken softly. You didn't say anything because you couldn't say anything. "It's ok, I'm not going to hurt you. Come here." He said opening up his arms and taking you in them. He wrapped his arms around you and you hesitantly wrapped your arms around his torso. When you both embraced you felt some of the fear wave off.

Something about this seemed a little too familiar. "How bout this, I'll walk you home." He suggested. You simply nodded and he had grabbed the bags that were thrown and carried them for you.

"So you shoot webs from your wrist?" You said and started walking home with Spider Man beside you. "My webs comes from these web shooter." He showed his wrist. "And crawling up walls, how you doing that?" You asked. "Long story." He stated.

You both walked in a calming silence. You didn't really feel like talking because of happened earlier. You were still a little shook up but the presence of Spider Man next to you made your nerves slowly dissipate.

"Well we're here." You said as you walked up to your apartment building. You reached out and he gave you your bags with a "here you go."

"Thank you. You really saved my life tonight." You thanked him with gratitude and a smile. "It's not a problem at all. Saving a beautiful girl like you." He flirted. "I bet you say that to all the girls." You said.

"Nah. Only one." With that he swung away on a web leaving you in-front of your building

"Wow real smooth Peter." You smirked. 

I kinda felt weird about this one (I almost trashed this whole thing) just because of what the situation was with the character in this story. Yes a disgusting act was indicated but I didn't want any offense to anyone who has been a victim of rape. Please if anyone is reading this and is a victim of these acts just know that my heart is with you. And please if you see something or anything that you know is wrong, stop it. You never know, you could be that persons hero. I personally haven't experienced any of these acts and I hope that NOBODY should have to go through that ever, or ever again. Be someone's hero.
