Chapter Twteny Seven- " i...love you too besty "

    I rolled over and opened my eyes to see my parents looking down at me.
    " what's going on? " I asked.
    " happy birthday! " they both smiled.
    " that's today? " I said.
    " yes silly now get up, we wanted to give you your present before we had to get to work " my mom said. Every year they work on my birthday, but I was used to it so it didn't bother me much.
    I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
    " here you go " my dad passed me a box.
    I opened it to see a bunch of new art supplies.
    " thank you " I smiled giving both of them a hug.
    " we have to get going now, but have a great birthday " my mom smiled giving me a kiss.
    Once they left my room I put there present on my desk and walked out to the kitchen to see two pancakes stacked with a candle on the top.
    " really Cole " I said sitting down.
    " happy birthday " he smiled placing down a card with a stuffed animal, I opened the card and there was some money inside.
    " thanks " I smiled hugging the stuffed animal.
    " so do you have any plains for your birthday? " Cole asked.
    " do I ever have plain on my birthday " I said.
    " no you never have plain, but make some this year " he suggested.
    " i'm good " I smiled.
    " fine then at least blow out the candle and make a wish " he said lighting the candle.
    " ok " I smiled, I blew out the candle.
    " what'd you wish for? " he asked.
    " if I told you it wouldn't come true now would it " I smiled, I took the candle out of the pancakes and doused them in syrup.
Once I finished I walked back into my room to get dressed.
I put on my black and gray camo shirt with black tights, I sat down at my desk and pulled out my new art supplies.
" hey i'm heading out for a little i'll see you later though " Cole said.
" ok sounds good " I smiled.
I started to sketch.
" hey " I turned around to see Chance.
" how did you get in? " I asked.
" Cole let me in before he left " he said.
" oh ok, but why are you here? " I asked.
" it's your birthday, do you really think I wouldn't find out " he said.
" how did you find out " I got up and crossed my arms.
" Cole has been talking about in non stop for the past week " he said.
" your joking, right? ".
" I wish I was, it was a long week " he said.
" well sorry about him " I laughed.
" I actually brought you something " he smiled.
" did you now " I smiled walking over to him.
" but first " he said.
" what? " I asked as he started to tickle me.
" Chance no stop! " I laughed.
" not going to happen " he smiled as we fell over onto my bed.
" please stop! " I shrieked.
" fine " he smirked.
Our faces were so close to one another I could feel this breath on my face, my phone started to ring.
I reached over and sat up.
" hey " I smiled.
" happy birthday " Brendon said.
" thanks " I smiled.
" ok so i'm taking you out somewhere tonight so be ready by 6 " he said.
" should I be nervous? " I asked.
" no, just be ready, ok? " he said.
" ok see you then " I smiled and ended the call.
" Brendon? " Chance asked as he rolled over to the side.
" yeah " I smiled.
" anyway, here you go " He passed me a card.
I opened it and there was a picture of a motorcycle.
" a picture? ".
" just read the card " he smiled.
I know that you wanted to have lessons on riding a motorcycle so you could get a licence and I decided I could teach you how to ride, but you would need a bike first so I hope you like your new bike. From Chance.
" wait is this mine " I said pointing at the turquoise motorcycle in the picture.
" yup " he smiled.
" Chance, this is way too much " I said.
" no it's not, especially when your uncle is friends with someone who owns a bike shop " he said.
" Chance, no I can't except this it's too much " I smiled.
" yes you can, I know how much you wanted it " he smiled.
" I...I don't know what to say..... thank you " I smiled giving him a hug.
" we can go by my house and see it if you want " he said.
" yeah I wanna see it " I smiled.
The doorbell rang.
" i'll go get that, then we can get going " I smiled jumping up from the bed, I walked down the hallway and turned the corner, I smiled and walked over to the door.
" hey, what are you doing here? " I asked.
" it's your birthday and I had a gift ready, thought I should still bring it " Judy said passing me a small box.
" thanks " I smiled.
" happy birthday " she smiled and walked off my porch.
I walked back into my room, " who was it? " Chance asked.
" Just the mailman giving me a present from my cousins, i'll open it later " I said setting the small box down on my desk.
I didn't want to tell Chance it was Judy since he would probably ask me to open it and I already knew I wanted to open it alone.
" ok then let's go see the bike " Chance smiled.
We got into his car and drove to his house.
I got out of the car to see the motorcycle sitting in his driveway.
" oh my gosh, Chance " I said sitting on it.
" I can't believe you this must have costed so much " I said.
" well you're never going to know how much " he said.
" how did you get it here in the snow, and all the way from Ottawa? " I asked.
" I have my ways " he smiled.
" i'm speechless thank you soo much " I smiled.
" take it for a ride " he said.
" I don't even know how to ride it " I said.
" well I will teach you once all this snow it gone and it's not so cold out " he said.
" I just want to keep thanking you " I smiled.
" well stop because it's your birthday and it's a present " he smiled.
" we can take it to your house and put it in the shed for the winter " he said.
" yeah sure, sounds good " I smiled still sitting on it.
" you'll have to get off it " he smiled.
" good idea " I smiled.

I sat on the couch at 6.
Brendon got to the house and came up to the door to get me.
" i'm scared, what's going to happen? " I asked.
" nothing don't worry " he smiled as we got in his car.
" but I do need you to put this on " he smiled passing me a blindfold.
" why? " I asked.
" Just put it on trust me " he said.
" fine, i'm trusting you " I said.
We drove for what felt like ten minutes.
" ok were here i'll help you out of the car and don't take the blindfold off till I tell you " he said.
I heard the door open, Brendon helped me out of the car and brought me into a building.
" ok you can take it off now " Brendon said, I took of the billfold and saw Justin, Cole, Chance, Brendon, Grace and Sofia all standing in front of me.
" Happy birthday! " they all yelled.
" ok what's going on? " I asked.
" just turn around " Brendon said.
I slowly turned around to see a bunch of kittens.
" oh my gosh, ahhh! " I smiled and ran to pick on of them up, I sat down on the ground.
" this is amazing, thank you " I smiled.
Everyone just started to talk and play with the kittens.
" happy birthday " Sofia and Grace smiled.
" thanks " I smiled grabbing the card out of Grace's hand.
I opened it.
" it's a gift card to get your nails done " Sofia smiled.
" thanks guys " I smiled and they walked away, It was a thoughtful present, but it's not something I would normal do.
Justin passed me a gift card to my favorite store.
" happy birthday " he smiled.
" thanks " I smiled.
Brendon waked over to me and sat down.
" do you like your present? " he asked.
" I don't know " I said.
" come on " he said.
" just kidding, I love it thank you " I smiled.
" Chance " I called out.
" what? " he asked.
" did you come over earlier to distract me? " I asked.
" maybe " he said.
" and i'm guess Cole went out to help set this up " I said.
" bingo " Cole said.
" oh and are you going to tell me what you wish for this morning? " he asked.
" no because it hasn't come true yet, half of it has, but not all of it " I smiled.
" fine " Cole sighed.
" also do you think my parents would get mad if I brought home a cat? " I asked.
" probably " Brendon smiled

After the kitten party, Brendon drove Cole and I back home.
" thanks for the ride " Cole said.
I walked around to Brendons window.
" thank you for a great party " I smiled.
" did you like it " he smiled.
" I loved it, really thank you, I never do anything on my birthday and I can say this was on of the best birthday's I have ever had " I smiled.
He kissed me.
" see you tomorrow " I smiled, I ran up to the house and waved bye.
" hope you had a good birthday, i'm going to head ot bed " Cole said.
" best birthday, thank you " I gave him a hug as we walked into our bed rooms.
I sat down at my desk and looked at the present from Judy, I opened it to see a hard drive inside.
I pulled out my computer and placed it in.
Beth's Birthday Surprise.
I clicked on the tab and a video started to play.
" hey Beth, happy birthday, I made this just for you, only for you, it's a one of a kind gift and I hope you love it " Judy smiled, I could tell she made this a couple months ago.
All of a sudden Judy started to play the piano and sing Consequences by Camila Cabello.
I out my hand over my mouth and started to smile.
" Loving you was sunshine, safe and sound, A steady place to let down my defenses, But loving you had consequences " she sang.
" Hesitation, awkward conversation, Running on low expectation, Every siren that I was ignoring, I'm paying for it " she sang.
I tear ran down my face, she had never sung for anyone before and I was the first one to ever hear her singing voice.

    " love you besty " it ended.
    " L...Love you too besty " I smiled as one more tear ran down my face.
I got my birthday wish, there was still hope for my friendship with her, there was still a chance, and she showed me that, by giving me this gift.
