Y/N's POV

~Present Day~

"It's fine, you didn't do anything. It was my mom." I sound kinda angered but I'm fine...at least that's what some people call it. "I just... miss home..."

We talk for a while. We become quite good friends. That's when I hear a knock on my door. "Come in."

I see the boy at the door, Ethan. The red head stands in my door way, when he starts talking.

"Hey, I just wanted to come talk about earlier, but I can go." He points outside the door, behind himself.

"No, no, that's fine, come on in." I smile at him.  He responds with a smile and walking in the room fully.

"Hey Ethan! How have you been?" I turn to Faith, who was yelling in my ear.

"I've been good, thanks for asking. How have you two been?" He's very polite.

"We've been good, thanks." Faith interrupts me when I try to speak.

"Come on, you can sit down." I point to my bean bag chair, sitting in a corner, not far from my bed.

"I-I couldn't." He looked nervous. Has he never been in someone else's room?

"Ethan, I insist." I smile at him again. "It's ok." He slowly nods and sits down.

He sinks down into the bean bag as it slumps, but keeps his good posture. I think he may be shy, polite, proper, etc but I don't assume.

"So, what did you wanna talk about?" He shrugs.

After a while we become comfortable with each other. We laugh, we talk, we tease, we do things friends do as if we've known each other for a couple of years.

After a while, it's time for dinner, so we head to the dining hall, all walking together. Again, we're laughing, talking, etc.

"Hey Ethan!" I look over to see Audrey walking over to Ethan.
"Oh, you. Ethan, why are you hanging out with THESE losers?"

"They're my friends. More then you'll ever be to me." He walks away, Faith following quickly behind.

"Hey, stay away from Ethan, he's mine. I will do anything for him to me mine! So watch out." She looks insane.

"Hey, maybe we can just start over and be friends?" My voice getting higher with every word.

"I will NEVER be your friend, ever!" She walks off to the dining hall.

'Welp, this just proves that, new friends, lead to new enemy's, and I'm perfectly fine with that.'
