(Sasuke X Reader) The Eyes That Capture

Chapter 21

"Congratulations, all of you. Seems like we made it to the next stage. To add, you guys have one of the highest marks from all the teams in the first test. So all of you and our school get the certificate of excellence."

Kakashi says, brimming with pride. Meanwhile, the other five are left speechless.

They are astonished with disbelief.

"Here is your certificates. Keep it carefully, alright." The white haired teacher hands the prize to his students.

Sasuke, the only one that looks sane at the  time takes it from his teacher.

"Thank you," he says.

Kakashi only smiles.

"By the way, we can't waste any of our precious time. We need to get going to prepare for stage two as soon as possible."

The sudden seriousness in the teacher's voice immediately catches his students' attention. All of them keep their focus on him.

"For the next stage, that is the formula creating, we are going to work with Suna High."

All five of them widen their eyes.

"What? Why?" Temari asks, confused.

"Well, basically because they got the highest mark in the first stage. Their mark is almost perfect. So, our principal, Minato-san decided that we need to go and learn from them what we can. As we have already known, Suna High is a very strict and prestigious high school, so that's why learning something from them is very crucial. Lucky us that they agreed to help."

"Oi, Temari. Isn't your brother a student there?" Shikamaru questions the tight-faced Temari.

But she doesn't answer.

"Weren't you also a student there?" Neji suddenly speaks and everyone goes silent.

Well, seems like they also don't know that fact.

"W-well, when i was in middle school. But i went out of the school and enter Konoha."

Shikamaru frowns.

"What? Why would you do something so troublesome?"

Yeah, changing school is kinda troublesome, what more to the likes of shikamaru. Even doing nothing is troublesome for him.

Temari takes a peek at shikamaru, her face slightly blushed. Stuttering, she quietly answers,

"S-simply because i couldn't stand the rules. Plus, Konoha is prettier." A wry smile perches on her lips. Kinda obvious that she is lying, isn't it?

"Alright! Enough of the talk already. I personally hope that all of you are ready to be a student of Suna High."

"Wait. What is the meaning if this?"
Sasuke interrupted.

"Exactly what you heard."

"But, why? I don't understand, you know."

Kakashi sighed.

"That's why, let me explain everything first, please. Then only you can ask questions. Stop interrupting me while i talk, alright?"

Everyone remains silent.

"Thank you. So here's the thing. All of you will be going to Suna and staying there for a week. In other words, you are required to be a student in Suna High for a week and you are required to follow each of their rules and regulations. That includes staying in the hostel, you know. Like any other students."

"Seriously?!" - temari

"What a pain..." - shika

"So basically we just need to surrender, is it." - neji

"I... Don't like the idea of staying there." - you

Sasuke is the only one that remains silent. Maybe he is accepting this or maybe he is just too pissed off to talk.

Well, maybe it is the latter.

"You have no choice, you know. Minato-san worked so hard to get this approved for our school's sake. And for your own sake too. So please. Give your full cooperation. Tomorrow, at 8, gather at the main gate with your stuffs fully packed. We'll be sending you off to Suna. Please be punctual."

"I can't believe this. Just how many burden does this competition would put us into? I've had enough of this. I surrender."

Shikamaru mumbles and put his head onto the table, slowly dozing off.

"I don't know. But we have no choice since the principal worked so hard for this anyway."

Neji adds, looking defeated.

Temari, you and Sasuke are somehow lost for words.

The gather room is still very noisy since the teachers fail to enter the class after recess today. They have an emergency meeting. So, these students, of course, extend their own recess. That's why the room is still very 'cheerful'.

And of course, the most noisy one is naruto. His voice is loud enough to be heard from the hallway. Who knows why he is so energetic.

Suddenly, Sasuke gets up from his seat and walks toward naruto.

The blond looks so confused.

"Do you... Need anything, Sasuke?"

Naruto asks, feeling a little worried as he can feel a very dark aura coming from the raven.

"Yeah.. I need something." Sasuke answered, being sinister.

"...And that is...?"

Sasuke shot a death glare towards the blond and grabbed him by the collar.

"I need you to shut up, you fool!"

He shakes naruto back and forth continously.

"WHY ARE YOU SO LOUD AND ANNOYING, YOU JERK?! WHY YOU ALWAYS LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE NO TROUBLE AT ALL?!! AND WHY DOES YOUR FATHER HAVE TO ANNOY US SO MUCH?! I HATE YOU, YOU FREAKING DUMB!"

Sasuke shouts while shaking naruto.

And naruto is simply confused and dumbfounded.

"Wait. Why do i get scolded by something that my dad did?!! It's not like i am involved, you know!!!" He said.

"I DON'T CARE! HE'S YOUR FATHER! YOU COULD'VE ASKED HIM, YOU FOOL! ARGGGGGHHHH, I HATE YOU!!"

Everyone in the gather room stays silent and only watches as the two keep arguing over this matter.

Well, looks like sasuke is definitely pissed off. Thought so.
