Chapter 68 (part 1)

"(Name), what are you doing?"

Gaara asks as he sits beside you.
You simply shake your head.

"Nothing... Just watching all these people having fun."

You say, as you take the glass of water that he's handing you. Gaara then looks around as well. It's weird, considering that the people that attend this party are not strangers to you.

So why would you just watch?

"Then, why don't you have fun with them? They're your friends too, right?"

You smile at him.

"Of course they are. But for now, i just feel like watching."

Gaara stares at you with a serious look.

"(Name), are you okay?"

He asks, concern can be heard from his voice. You just look at him like usual.

"I'm fine, gaara-kun. Don't worry."

You try to assure him, but he's not convinced.

"Are you sure?"

You simply nod at his question.

"Hundred percent sure. Now, don't you have something to do? I bet you have. Just go. I'll be walking around a bit."

Gaara takes away the glass from you. Then, he stands.

"Alright then. But please take care of yourself, okay? If anything happens, just call me. I'll be right there."

You put up a faint smile.

"Yes, i know... Now just go and handle the guests."

He then smiles as well.

"Alright then. I'll be right back, okay. Love you."

And with those words, gaara leaves to meet and greet the guests that are swarming the party hall.

It's spring vacation already, and you're now at a party of gaara's family. Well, it's a party to celebrate temari's and gaara's parents' anniversary.

Lots of people are coming, even your friends from school. All of them are dressed in beautiful gowns and suits. They are all pretty and handsome.

However, your eyes are searching for someone else.

A person, that you have wanted to meet since the last graduation day. But you can't see him around now, and so does his family.

That's why you are just sitting and watching.

You just wait for him to come.

That, is only if he wants to come.

"Welcome, yuri!"

Right at that moment, you hear the sound of someone calling yuri's name.

You immediately turn and see ino laughing cheerfully with a gorgeous looking yuri. She is in a pink dress which suits her very well. After that, you also see mikoto, the mother of the uchihas. She's greeting gaara's parents.

Itachi is also there.

Your eyes scan through the crowds again.

But you can't see him. Not even a glimpse.

"Damn it!"

You scowl.

"Just where on earth are you?!"

You are getting annoyed as you wait at the same spot, therefore, you start searching.

You go everywhere and take a careful look of each and every one of the guests, but you still can't see him.

Oh my God, he's really hard to meet when you need him.

After searching for about 15 minutes, you decide to take a rest, but the main hall is too noisy. Therefore, you make your way to a much quieter place.

Temari's father rented a huge hall to hold the party, so there would be some small unused rooms gfor you to take a break.

As you walk for a while, you finally found the room.
It is not too far from the main hall, but it's quiet. So it's good.

"I guess I'll just calm myself down in here."

You say, as you hold onto the knob. As you are about to open the door, someone already opened it from the inside.

You startle.

Oh, my, God.

The man that is standing in front of you also stuns when he sees you.

And you?

You are already paralysed as you look at the figure in front of you.

It's the man that you have been looking for since the beginning of the party.

And he's here now, right in front of you.

Your heart thomps faster and starts to accelerate.

This man.... is no other than
