Chapter 61

Sasuke is strolling around the town alone. Right now, he is taking a rest in an abandoned park and is sitting on a bench there. His eyes keep looking at the beautiful scenery in front of him.

A sunset. It is very breathtaking, but it makes him feel complicated as well.

Sasuke received a call from yuri just now, happily and excitedly congratulating him.

But he's not feeling as ecstatic as she is.

A lot is in his mind, and he doesn't know how to solve it.

Yesterday, he almost got busted for following you and gaara during your walk. He didn't want to show himself up, but the situation forced him to.

You simply giggle at him.

"Just now. Why, that's a cute expression you have."

Sasuke bites his lips in anger.

"What do you mean, cute?"

"That's cute."

"You..."

"Hey, you should be grateful that I'm calling you cute, you know. I never complimented anyone before."

Sasuke narrows his eyes.

"Really? Is that even true?"

You laugh.

"Of course!"

Sasuke doesn't reply anymore, and just moves his gaze towards where he was looking at before you came. The sunset.

You just look at him as he stares towards the sky. His eyes look sad, and his back looks lonely. It's totally heartbreaking to see him like this.

You take a seat beside him on the bench.

"What's wrong, sasuke?"

You ask him, being concerned at his attitude. But the male only answers in his usual uninterested tone, like always.

"Nothing's wrong. I am perfectly fine."

You smile wryly at his answer. No matter how you think about it, that's a total lie.

"Please, stop lying now, sasuke. Anybody can tell that you're not okay. You've been deserting yourself a lot lately. You make me worried, you know."

Sasuke takes a glance at you with the corner of his eyes. Then, he looks straight ahead again.

"You don't have to worry about me. I'm perfectly fine."

"Sasuke..."

"(Name), i said I'm fine."

He turns to look at you with a serious gaze, and that causes you to stop talking.

When he looks like that, it means that he doesn't want you to talk about it anymore, and you have to obey it so that he won't get upset.
