(Sasuke X Reader) The Eyes That Capture

Chapter 46

"Oh, come on, sasuke. Get in here."

You say, urging the raven haired boy to come into your house since he has been hesitating in front of the door.

Somehow, he looks uncomfortable.

"Are you sure you want me to be in there?"

He asks.

You sigh out of frustation.

"For the thousandth time, sasuke uchiha, just come in! You have been asking the same question for millions of times already!"

"Hey, I'm trying to be careful right here. Who knows what is going to happen if i get in there."

"NOTHING will happen. Just, come in!"

You grab his hand and pull him into your house. Because of his injured leg, sasuke staggers a little, so he has no choice but to obey.

You keep pulling him towards your small living room and sit him on the sofa. Then, you go to the kitchen and grab some ice to put on his bruise.

Sasuke just sits still, not moving an inch. His eyes scan through the small space that has been the place where you spent your days for almost two years now.

"Hmm, you're quite amazing."

He suddenly speaks.

You take a peek from behind the fridge's door to look at him.

"What do you mean?"

You continue to take the ice and shut the fridge's door.

His eyes follow your movements until you reach the living room.

"Well, I'm talking about your life."

He says as you take a seat in front of him.

You don't respond to allow him to continue. Meanwhile, you put the ice into a handkerchief.

"I mean, look at how you survived living on your own. You used to have maids cleaning your house and butlers serving you, but right now you manage everything on your own. It's kind of... Fascinating."

You raise an eyebrow at his statement.

He is being weird,  praising you and all. Is it because of his injuries? Maybe he hit his head?

While doubting, you slowly dab the ice onto his face.

"What is wrong with you? You're being scary."

Sasuke rolls his eyes.

"I'm being nice. How is being nice considered as scary?"

You laugh listening to his sentence.

"It's because the word 'nice' and sasuke uchiha does not fit each other at all!"

He simply glares at you.

"Now that sounds like an insult."

You continue to laugh. Sasuke is being exceptionally funny today.

You laugh a lot because of him.

"You know what, sasuke?"

"Hm?"

"Right now, I'm worried about you."

Sasuke frowns.

"Why?"

You take a glance at him for a while, before answering his question.

"Because of your swollen face, of course. Now you look uglier than you already are. Well, not like it makes any difference, but yeah..."
